why why why cant they make the english version of this? I have a saturn with this game but it's getting old and I dont want to lug it around in fear of breaking either.

Hey, is that first opponent's portrait just the new generic ninja portrait, or is it somewhat unique?
Someone else mentioned Kyoem's clone army spell. In my experience, it's a tad random whether he uses it or not. It's really anticlimatic when he doesn't, especially in the Shrine battle.
@LordZast Kyoem's Phantasm is the strongest spell in game, since every ninja copy has the same command value as the general, so for example Kyoem is still alive at Lv 45 he will have around 140 Cmd and he will rape any kind of troop or even kill your commander without losing any of his troops. Pretty fucked up, you should try it ;)
@Enkidu09 Is that only in the Sega Ages remake? Because I have to say, I've rarely seen his troops do anything especially useful, though I'd have to admit, I'm used to him only casting it when he's already on the ropes so that his troops don't get much of an opportunity to fight.
The result on PS2 is too bad... the loading intro for the saturn to load the sprite is skiped due to the power of the machine and then the music is not fitting ... arf... what a pity.

Mages Kick ass of Harpys and Zombies and Dragons
Beast Kick ass of Horses and Archies
Harpies Kick ass of Soldies , samurais , Horses
Zombies Kick ass of Soldies ,Samurais, Horses beast too.
Dragons Can Beat Almost all troops.......

Something is off with that Kyoem battle. In the Saturn version he uses a technique to make 100 copies of himself. I guess the ps2 version is pussier.
