  • This is a happy version. I have posted a sad version sung exclusively by Lataji.

  • EXCELLENT CHOICE....EXCELLENT SELECTION.....YOU HAVE A BRILLIANT TASTE.

  • @manubhaichhabria ..You are most welcome my dear friend ..

Thanks for sharing a real rare GEM

  • The best duet of Hemath da and lata. If we send the best of hindi music in a time capsule for the posterity, this song will in the top ten.

  • @kappaiyer ..truly said ..thanks for sharing

  • Generations have dreamt such soft and tender romance. Only Lata and Hemant Da made it so heavenly. Very few songs have reached such a melodic peak. Thanks mastkalandr ji.

  • boht wadhiya, swad aa geya ji

  • ThanQ Mastkalandar,

Thanks to all who place beatiful old Hindi songs and pictures of past singers and Music Directors .

    Lakh Lakh Shukriya

    Naresh

  • Oh this took me to my old days.

  • "Nayi manzil nayi raahein naya hai maharbaan apana, na jaane jaake thahrega kahaan yah kaarvaan apna.

Na chamakegi jahaan bijli na aayega jahaan tuufaan,

banaaenge usi daali pe jaakar aashiyaan apna.

Bharosa hai muqaddar par tumhaara bhi sahara hai,

kahin dushman na ban jaaye yeh zaalim aasmaan apna.

Dikhaaenge hamein yeh chaand taare raah manzil ki,

banatay ho agar dushman to ho saara jahaan apna" SIMPLE BUT DEEP AND MEANINGFULLY BEAUTIFUL WORDS. WHERE HAVE THOSE WRITERS OF OLD GONE?

HK -LATA duet with me .., i am not able to express my feelings.. thanks you for loving comments... mastkalandr

  • Sweet old favorite. Thanks Dr. Bukhari for sharing and mastkalandr for uploading.

  • Hemant Kumar had a unique heavy voice and he sang many sweet songs like Yaad Kiya Dil Nei Kahan Ho Tum and Yaad Kiya Dil Nei Kahan Ho Tum etc. As a music composer he excelled in giving sweet melodies again whether it were for Kohra or for Saheb Bibi Aur Ghulam etc. Such talent is nowhere to be seen nowadays.

  • Wow! what a sweet little duet from Hemant/Lata!

One has got to appreciate the light background music, shifting the right emphasis on the lyrics and singers. This style is so very attractive. Thanks mastkalandr for uploading and Doc for forwarding.

  • Thanks for uploading the nice sweet duet. Thanks also due to Dr. Bukhari for sharing. I simply endorse the rich comments by chamogaa.. I have no further comments but from listening and enjoying the song. There is no second opinion about the high talent that Hemantda possessed be it singing or music. He excelled in Rabindra Sangeet.

  • Thanks for sharing this tender ballad by HK and Lata, Doc. Thanks also to mastkalandar, the uploader. Whether alone or as part of a duet, HK always sang in a calm, soft, soothing style. Another romantic duet of him with Lata that I love is from Baadshah, Aa Neel Gagan Ke Tale. Suhanee11 has posted it on her channel.

  • Thanks. I am drawn straightaway to the particular song from Baadshah which I like so much.
