I always liked the idea that Diana, tired of being spurned by Clark for Lois eventually settled for Bruce as an act of petty revenge only to be impressed by him and eventually genuinely fall for this tenacious mortal. In some way Diana Prince would be the one woman who could tame Bruce Wayne. But in the end she would out live him as she outlived Steve Trevor before him and eventually she and a bereaved Clark would finally have the children that they could never have with mere mortals.

@mammal360 Because in that continuity they are a couple, even from the getgo take a look at "the goddamn Batman" AKA Allstar Batman and Robin, there's quite a few elseworlds where they get together and I think it's a pretty logical way to go after Lois dies, but not all of those Elseworlds are good... DK2 is trash and Act of God is horrible, to name a couple bad ones. (The original Dark Knight Returns is good and so is Kingdom Come). did also have a thing with Bruce at some point in the comics

This video is a cool concept. It seemingly alludes that the long-standing friendship betwixt Superman and Wonder Woman is more than just a friendship. A relationship of constantly supressed emotional/sexual tensions, perhaps? It also sends the message that what they had is now changed/damaged, maybe permanently. Since they've never been (canonicly) an actual couple, it probably doesn't ring true to the majority of actual comic book fans. Personally, I like the idea of them being a pair.
