A rotary is completely different from a normal gasoline engine. There are no pistons, connecting rods, etc etc like a normal engine, and hence no "stroke". Go and Google "How a rotary engine works". There's no way I could explain it in 500 characters on YouTube.

what rpm is it running at at the 22 second mark? i got a pp in my rx7 and need to set the idle on it coz it runs at 1000 rpm then stalls. think it needs new spark plugs or tune also coz if i try make it run at around 2200rpm it runs but back fires every few seconds. would old spark plugs do that?

@vlturboman are you running a carb or F/Injection if injection you will need a tune get a air to fuel ratio gauge that will help alot in tuning it and might just be a carb tune needed just do the ignition tune up first check all grounds and does it rev good?

actually peripheral ports do make that sound so you fail at rotaries second while yes the 20b is not emissions legal in the US and was never produced in a US based car there are many 20b converted RX7's on the street. if you dont believe me check out petit racings 20b conversion kit for an example.

modifying any motor will shorten its life and put it under extra stress. PP is the ultimate porting that can be done to a rotary engine and adds at least an extra 200hp just by making the ports bigger and since this car is only used a few times a year life-span is irrelevant. You really only use PP for race/drag use, they are impractical for the road as drivbility and fuel consumption are very poor, altho some people still do it Lol
