@BrownieParadox thank you :). Well i supose is just that i played some hundred times with wheel/pedals. any CT player can be some skilled after some hours with wheel/pedals, personally i hate controller for this game, i always loved wheel games :D

ofc being mora than 2 hours standing up with wheel/pedals makes anyone being tired...

ok, before inserting coin, step the gas and brake pedals, the insert coin, press start and on drivers selecting screen with the 2 pedals holded select forward gear , release pedals and then select backward gear... then select the driver you want pressing start (not with pedals) easy. Have fun ;)

I never played on a sit down CT coin-op ,on my country they are stand up or with a little "high chair" where i used to do my best, but not a properly sit-down coin-op like on games like sega rallye championship for ex.

For sure i,ll do less $ on sit-down position.

Congratulations on the world record sir. I'm trying to record my Crazy Taxi record on Gamecube so I can send it to Twin Galaxies. If you want, you can record your Arcade record and send it to Twin Galaxies, the current record is $106,184.94 submitted by my friend, JC Padilla. My record on consoles is $117,011.82 and the current record is for the Dreamcast and is $114.923.17 set by Erik Mooney. Have you tried playing on the console? I'm pretty sure you can break the record on consoles too. n_n

Thank you! :) I used to play 8 years ago... I founded this machine on my holidays trip so i played once and did 100K, and played another time and did this record.. my old record was 114K made on 2001.

I think is easy to get 100-102k but getting more is harder cause the chances of the patterns of the customer destinations.

Also once u get 200-210 customers on the arcade machine they begin to disappear and you lose´em... If this doesnt happent on consoles will be easy to broke this record.. dont know , never played on console this game. XD

The disappearing customers has been fixed for the consoles. That was discovered in the early 2000's during TwinGalaxies' Crazy Taxi summer competition.

Nice!! then on console will be about 5%more score always because on coin-ops always dissapear about 5-15 of them on my games.... for example in this 116k game in the end i done a complete city lap searchin and there were no more customers in the city (with 227 on the counter...)

Back in year 2000 i used to know all color-destination patterns af all city customers ( except very few that were without pattern) so this way i managed my forward and backward laps through the city to catch´em all but my picking record was 254customers out of about 265 that are the total on the city.

Actually i have forgotten some patterns but have not lost driving/drifting skill. :)

I always thinked the perfect game was about 125K, so can be beated.

In fact on y2000 I talked to the man attending the arcede machines room (was a friend of mine) and he acepted to put the machine levels on 1 level time and 8 level traffic (to do more combos) and did 126.XXX.XX having the most of the time the time counter close to 999because I was gaining more time with each customer but there was no way to stash more time... but i dont count that game as a real record because the settings where the easyest ones....

we can talk about this game strategy whenever you want. In the past when i did 106K i went to a web scores table to insert it there, but the owner of the page did not beliebe my record because the best players where doing 100-102K and i did suddenly 106.... Im glad someone believe me now AT LAST ;)

im NOT a cheater! as you can read in the description (read please) on the arcade machine, once you pick up 200 customers the counter backs again to 1... so this is 116K and 227customers. (you can see another of my scores of 101k and 200customers....

Read a little bit before callin someone SHIT ok?? :(
