The wording in SOPA isn't correct but the intent is. And lets' face it. Both of the proposed bills drawn up weren't intended to pass anyway. It's a jumping off point for negotiation to create something that will. This isn't about internet freedom. It's about the tens of billions of dollars lost to U.S companies due to foreign piracy

Connections built from public funds on public lands, belong to the public (and controlled by the government). Corporate networks are obviously private, so why not take inspiration from that model?
