@cosmokramer41 He's one of the original Danzig-era members but no; he is not one of the founders. He created the devilock sure, but that's all. Glenn founded the band himself, wrote all the songs, created the fiend club, found the mascot, released then re-released all the material, worked with Caroline Records for the CD's, the Box Set, and made all the artwork. Jerry sued for royalties in the late 1980's. That quickly failed 'cause he had zero writing credit. So he took the name.

I just had the privilege of meeting Jerry last nite in Detroit after the show. I've heard the rumors of him being a dick, so I was cautious. I was totally surprised. He was super sweet & kool. Gave me a kiss on the cheek & a hug, signed my arm, took a pic with me and my boyfriend. And he stayed until every last fan was happy. Jerry sounded great live, they played lots of my fav songs & I was extremely satisfied with the experience! Jerry Only is truly legendary!!!

If he stuck with the quality sound from his Land of the Dead single, the album would be kickass. Hopefully he will concider releasing a alt take like that, kinda like the old school Misfits and there 10 diffrent versions of 1 song.haha. Or get Graves back.

@joed424 the orignal misfits played in standard tuning like the ramones,metallica,and alot of bands do.when the misfits reformed in 1995 they began tuning a half step down.this made it easier for michale graves to hit the higher notes that glenn nailed.michale had a deeper voice.even metallica now tune down a half step when they play live.this makes it easier for james to hit the high notes he used to hit before he got older and his voice got deeper.glenn really is the best singer
