CGS rules are so f'n stupid. 1 round matches? Each round win counts as a point? WTF? Why can't it be more like a legit fighting game tournament like EVO where the finals are like 2/3 or 3/5 double elimination match sets?
Was rooting for Vanessa as a fellow Hitomi main. She's a great player (saw her against Offbeat Ninja, too). She also shares a similar look to Hitomi as well. Great match and Pheonix showed good sportsmanship...but can someone shut that woman up. The guy was annoying, too, but that woman just grated on me. If I was Vanessa I would have turned around and swung for the bitch, then resumed playing.
@Esotrepid She is the coach. I don't think there is much a Coach can do for a DoA player outside of making sure they don't get mindfucked after a bad round. It is too bad they want the coaches next to the DoA players because Alex Conroy would have been better off standing standing next to his CS:S team.

Phoenix made lots of mistakes. So many unsafe moves that Vanessa used that she didn't grab... Must have been the pressure.
