I seen demons all my life! They would hurt me when I was a child. I was stolen and went to hell. You can find some assurance in the scipture itself. It is free from all bias and is considered by all true believers to be 'The Word of God.'
This will help to you believe Christianity is the way to avoid hell. It is logical, God is logical. Continue to read scripture, watch videos (which reference scripture like this one-for quality), etc, it helps. In time, it begins to make alot of sense.

Sorry to have to say this, but there are many, many reasons this could have happened besides him actually going to hell. For example, this could be a psychotic breakdown, or he could be looking for attention. It could even be as simple as a vivid dream. I'm not saying this isn't true, or that God is fake or anything like that, it's just there are so many other possible explanations for this that I find it difficult to believe this actually happened.
Even if this is a vivid dream, assume that this person has spoken the truth (which I believe that he had because I had similar experiences with Heaven), travelling in Heaven or Hell while still living can be in the form of vivid dreams.
I pray that you'll help many people off the path of destruction, and onto the path of life. The book is a good wake up call to share the Love of God with people.
How can the paltry sins we all commit on earth warrant an eternity of horrendous torture at the hands of demons? It's not an "imagined notion" of God, all religious teaching I grew up with as a Catholic, the Bible included, describes him as all-loving and all-forgiving. This notion of hell is incongruous to those teachings.
There is nothing special here in Wiese's "vision" of hell. It parallels what any child could tell you... just because someone else had a similar idea of hell, with fire and large demons, hardly makes Wiese special.
Our God, revealed to us in the Bible, is one that is both a Lion and a Lamb, both Merciful and Severe, forgiving and judging. The one who saved Noah's family, yet also destroyed the rest of the world. Scripture calls Him Beautiful, yet terrifying. The one who saved the Israelite from Egypt, and also severely destroyed Egypt, even killing all the first born. The problem is that many churches fear people's reactions, and are afraid to teach anything that is unpleasant about God.
So these churches will present a distorted view of God, ignoring anything people might consider distasteful. They present an image of God who is closer to Santa Clause, than the God revealed to us in scripture. You're right to say God is Loving and Forgiving, but to those people who refuse to repent, who do the very thing that God warned us not to. They will not see a kind and kuddly God on their Judgment day. Bill's testimony is a true vision given from Jesus, to warn us.
I believe that there is a hell, but don't think this guy is telling the truth. There are certain topics that he talks about that I don't agree with him on. For example he says that the demons will torment you for eternity. The bible clearly states that the devil and his angels will also be destroyed when the Lord establishes his new kingdom on earth. A new Jerusalem coming down from Heaven. How can God allow the Devil to achieve what he always wanted.

I will give this man the benefit of the doubt. I think that he is probably not lying and actually believes what he is saying.
But it could have a very simple explanation. He was at the time, a devout christian, and hell is always on the mind of people like him. He had just returned from a prayer meeting and was probably in a very heightened mental state. It was more likely that he was hallucinating.
Scientists have long known the causes of these visions and have even been able to recreate them

Jesus warns many times in scripture about hell even gives an example of a man
in hell. When you get born again of the Spirit the Lord also shows you in time
(pretty soon) that hell is real for unrepentant sinners (those who havent committed to Jesus in life and received the Holy Spirit inside them and
OBEYING his commands). Just believing in Jesus or God isnt enough. "Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again" (John 3 verse 3).

The rich man was specifically dressed in purple and fine linen which WAS the Jewish High Priest and Lazerus also Simon had leperosy and live outside the gates. I seen demons all my life! They would hurt me when I was a child. I was stolen and went to hell. It was exactly what bill describes in his book, except the demons where screaming at warfaring angels of GOD who were there to save me. The demons were no match for the Lords angels. When I realized what happened I searched for information from everyone I knew about this. I finally met Bob Larson. He helped me sooo much!!!

I'd be a lot happier knowing there was a hell. I would pick it over heaven everyday. If I'm to find people like you or Bill in heaven then Hell seems like the perfect place for me. i don't care if I'll burn for eternity or whatever but I prefer it. How do I know there is no hell? How do I know there is? A bunch of people saying it's real isn't going to make me believe in it. And if you haven't notice pop culture actually shouts out satanism but I doubt you can see it.

That means you, or me, or anyone can duplicate those experiments and observations and get the same results. There is no empirical evidence at all for religious/theistic ideas.

It suggests that yes, there is what you consider a "God," but it isn't what you imagine it to be. You give it humanistic, magical attributes so you can identify with it. When in the Monadology, it is suggested that "God" is just a logical principle, an equation or particle full of knowledge from what everything is logically based off of.

The testimony of Bill Wiese is true, the film by Robin Williams is fiction. Bill's testimony is also consistant with scriptures, giving warning to people who reject God's Forgiveness and Love.
Scripture teaches us that God's forgiveness is not unconditional, it is only for those who repent, those who refuse to repent, as the bible states, have God's wrath on them.
God's prophet's and servants tell the truth, they are not trying to turn people on to something, but to give them truth.

Everything Bill has spoken about is scripturally accurate. I could find nothing doctrinally suspect in his testimony.

I am skeptical. I don't believe that there are the saved and the damned. I don't believe that God judges and that we should fear him but to make our own path to a glorious afterlife. Live life as best you can and the man in the big house will be happy

Any God, heaven or hell that you make up with your own mind is just an idol.
What good are beliefs if they are not true. If you set yourself on fire, it doen't matter what you believe, you will still get hurt.
Put you trust in Jesus, No lie was found in His mouth, all who listen to his voice hear the truth. Don't put you faith in man or man's beliefs.

We're are not joking when we Talk about Jesus, many of us have met him, I spoke with Him this morning. I wasn't talking to an idol, as so many people do, but a living God.
Man made religion? For most religions this is true, even athiesm, Humanism, secularism. But you can't tell me that men made of the God of the bible, God's wisdom is not like man's.
Study the Words of Jesus and tell me that they are just made up by intellectuals.

Zenguy22 - Not everyone who calls themselves of Christian has the Spirit of Christ in them. For this they must be born again & Spirit filled John 3:3, 16 & Acts 2. As a result they do not have the Spirit of God in them, who is Love. What you have then, is a Pharisee, Matthew 23, who uses dead religion to intimidate & control others. What God gives us is complete acceptance & forgiveness thru relationship if we will but trust Him. Love does not force us but gives us a choice to trust/love or not.

I want to belive in Jesus as my Lord and savior, but that image has been corrupted by so many right wing hate spewing conservatives and I feel very uncomfortable with Christianity. If I knew 100 percent that Christianity was the was to avoid Hell i would accept it unequivically. I just need some assurance! Please help.

God is a holy God who hates sin, and judges people accordingly because He does not tolerate evil. But He loves us too, unmeasurabley. So He sent His only Son, Jesus (whom was sinless) to take the punishment we deserve, so we wouldn't have to go through it ourselves. All we have to do is to repent (change our mind) of sin, and turn to God. God bless. Remember: It is not our ability to be Perfect that we stay saved, but our willingness.

Zenguy22 - There is hatred in all hearts put there by the lies & tactics of Satan. Not all Christians are born again or Spirit filled, so they lack the pure Love of God & use dead religion as a system to intimidate & control others in the name of Christianity. This has nothing to do with Christ. However, that said, even born-again Christians aren't impervious to making mistakes. They still have the same wounds & memories from the past that are gradually removed with the healing of their hearts.

You can find some assurance in the scipture itself. It is free from all bias and is considered by all true believers to be 'The Word of God.'
This will help to you believe Christianity is the way to avoid hell. It is logical, God is logical. Continue to read scripture, watch videos (which reference scripture like this one-for quality), etc, it helps. In time, it begins to make alot of sense.

Well, hell is not something to fear. it has been made so by curruptins in the church. I myself try not to envision heaven or hell while worshoping christ, just solely loving him. Try that, it works for me. helpsme to focus on jesus himself,not Fearing or anything'

Because sadly my good friend, man has used religion , including christianity to control the world. Keep the good faith in Jesus, just don't let man use it agaisnt you. Especially the goverment, they are the ones who have used christianity and peace to accomplish whatever it is they need to. And thats how it will be, evil is right in front of our eyes, we just dont see it. We see it as "good and fair''. Don't be fooled and may God bless you.

Sorry to have to say this, but there are many, many reasons this could have happened besides him actually going to hell. For example, this could be a psychotic breakdown, or he could be looking for attention. It could even be as simple as a vivid dream. I'm not saying this isn't true, or that God is fake or anything like that, it's just there are so many other possible explanations for this that I find it difficult to believe this actually happened.

Even if this is a vivid dream, assume that this person has spoken the truth (which I believe that he had because I had similar experiences with Heaven), travelling in Heaven or Hell while still living can be in the form of vivid dreams.

Bill has taken a pretty reasonable and fair interpretation of the scriptures he uses.
It's not a made up story, he would much rather be doing his old job of real-estate than going around telling some made up story.
Believe it and be warned.
In looking at the video of him, how could anybody think he's trippin on acid???
I would take him more seriously, and the scriptures warnings of hell more seriously.

How can the paltry sins we all commit on earth warrant an eternity of horrendous torture at the hands of demons? Only the most monstrous of acts, such as genocide and mass rape/murder could render someone deserving of this. Our loving God would never doom us to this fate... only a charlatan would resort to scare tactics to force belief upon us.

I hope this video shatters any false image of God that you have thought up. The real God is the one revealed to us by the prophets, not that one that we create in our mind. The bible warns us about Hell, and what is there. You can believe what the scriptures warn us of, our you can trust your own opinion.

It's not an "imagined notion" of God, all religious teaching I grew up with as a Catholic, the Bible included, describes him as all-loving and all-forgiving. This notion of hell is incongruous to those teachings.
There is nothing special here in Wiese's "vision" of hell. It parallels what any child could tell you... just because someone else had a similar idea of hell, with fire and large demons, hardly makes Wiese special.

Our God, revealed to us in the Bible, is one that is both a Lion and a Lamb, both Merciful and Severe, forgiving and judging. The one who saved Noah's family, yet also destroyed the rest of the world. Scripture calls Him Beautiful, yet terrifying. The one who saved the Israelite from Egypt, and also severely destroyed Egypt, even killing all the first born. The problem is that many churches fear people's reactions, and are afraid to teach anything that is unpleasant about God.

So these churches will present a distorted view of God, ignoring anything people might consider distasteful. They present an image of God who is closer to Santa Clause, than the God revealed to us in scripture. You're right to say God is Loving and Forgiving, but to those people who refuse to repent, who do the very thing that God warned us not to. They will not see a kind and kuddly God on their Judgment day. Bill's testimony is a true vision given from Jesus, to warn us.

I believe that there is a hell, but don't think this guy is telling the truth. There are certain topics that he talks about that I don't agree with him on. For example he says that the demons will torment you for eternity. The bible clearly states that the devil and his angels will also be destroyed when the Lord establishes his new kingdom on earth. A new Jerusalem coming down from Heaven. How can God allow the Devil to achieve what he always wanted.

Yes, in the end demons will be thrown into the lake of fire also and destoryed. But now, parts of the underworld are their dominion.
I know that Bill Weise knows this too, and in His book, which is the full testimony, it probably discusses this in more details.

sleep paralysis!!! i have it and maybe 1 our of every 3 times it happens to me I hallucinate and have weird godly like visions that feel completely REAL. but im just saying; just messing around. Someone said how after reading this book they god interested in the Bible and the same happened to me. I hated church i only went on Christmas or when someone died. I grew up Irish Catholic in Boston, but never believed in Religion untill I read this. Great Read
