Doesnt exist it was done by computer....that paint is Montana 94 but i asked they dont have glow in the dark but they do have "Rust-Oleum" paint that does glow you have to order it online.

GUYS! do a LITTLE research before posting stupid comments.. the spray paint isnt around.. its a phosphorescent paint (not blacklight fluorescent) and it actually absorbs and maintains the light for hours at a time.  Obviously its gotta be painted on by hand and a ton of editing has been done but you can MAKE YOUR OWN for 50$ worth in paint! sooo simple :)

Glow in the dark paint...google it(glonation). But they don't have a long life time per charge especially red/orange. Green can burn for up to 9hrs+, blue for 3hrs on each charge(uv/sun).

Better option would be to use EL wire as its battery powered

@BikeAfterDark - I think you misunderstand the meaning of "screen images simulated." It refers specifically to images of the phone's screen, because the refresh rate of the phone screen wouldn't naturally sync up with the 24fps camera used to film the commercial. The bikes are not simulated.

@s2000JDM95 a blacklight is a UV light (UltraViolet)... think of a sunburn, the UV from the sun causes sunburn or a light from a tanning bed...or ever seen someone check a bill with a violet light? that light is a blacklight. The most common way i can explain it is that light that makes white glow into a violet/blue color at a "cosmic bowling night" lol

as far a the street lights don't think it will affect it as much.

for those interested in the paint.... I did a lot of searching after watching this commercial. I plan on replicating this as soon as the materials are shipped.

The closest paint i found is called "clearneon" .... it is a UV (blacklight) reactive paint ($20-$30). It goes on clear and it is invisible during the day but with a blacklight it shines the color. In my case, i ordered blue...... hope this helps. I guess i will post a video as soon as I finish the project.

@justsaynotodrugs oh 100% they went back and enhanced the visuals. I'm skeptical it will have the EXACT same glow as in this video as well... but i will try to get it as close as possible. I saw many people using E L wire, others used "Cold cathode tubes"... and although these help light up the bike... it doesn't give the same glowing effect like blacklight...

I'm pretty sure the light u see is the rear red light... not uv.

FYI: The paint cans seen at 0:07 are MTN 94. This paint is only flourescent, not glowing in the dark. It's more likely that a different kind of paint, perhaps Krylon Glowz, was used and then digitally enhanced.

MTN 94 cans - they actually don't have glow in the dark for MTN 94, but they do have it for the MTN Alien,its called Poltergeist. they do have MTN 94 Flourescent colors in Blue, Green, Pink, Red, Orange, and Yellow that we carry at 33third.

@xxpavsterxx offhand I don't think so, but it might be possible. for glow in the dark like they are portraying in the video you would need the paint to have phosphorescence which makes glow in the dark paint glow. Fluorescent paint does glow, it just glows immediately, instead of storing the energy and releasing it slow over time like glow in the dark does. Most likely they used some tricks in production black lit their shots which will make fluorescent glow really bright.
