I have a 94 integra LS, all stock. Im looking at buying an engine upgrade, but a turbo kit is a little out of my price range so im looking at ECU's. does anyone know the best performance mod for the lowest price ??? i also want a new exhaust, without it sounding ricey, anybody know any good exhaust brands for integra's ??

If you buy complete Procharger kit and install according to instructions on a stock car, then technically you're supposed to pass - given everything else on car functions properly. I bought the tuner kit and use Hondata with bigger injectors. I think it could pass actual smog test but won't pass the visual inspection in CA probably, since it's all modified looking. Procharger IS 50 state street legal though. Has C.A.R.B. number.

Good point. But I bet a more powerful LS could still be just as fast if not faster... Maybe would need more power? My buddy is rebuilding his car now and will finally have it tuned properly on more boost. Should be a much better match then! Stay tuned... haha

go get that ls tuned.... its a dog your lucky if you put out a solid 190 my da stock motor on 10psi with a 57trim turbo was 268hp and 149trq on 15psi on e85 310hp and 180trq on a stock internal daily driver get it tuned....

Aww yea i know about high powered hondas but i mean all the horsepower wit no traction isnt really wat im after, but wen i do get a crx i want prob about 350 to 400 hp, because my dsm will b at 7 to 800 hp then i jus got a gt42r for it, so yea wont b a street car anymore. i also want to rev the crx to 10 grand cuz i know wit da right combo it will do it i mean come on its honda lol.

This 4dr GSR on 91 PUMP gas makes 320 whp and can hit mid 13's with all season street tires. In the 12's fo sho with slicks. All this on only 8 psi. 8. The goal is to change the blower pulley and increase boost for more power =)

I know high power Honda motors boosting 20+ psi on race gas are out there easily making 500+ horsepower with engine builds similar to mine, plus big turbo. Faster than anything else top end, 3rd to 5th.

You should try a Honda. They are a lot more desirable than a dsm to me after owning a couple of them. Turbo GSR will steamroll most dsm.

The LS does not have VTEC. The motor makes 140 HP to the crank. Only 110 to the wheels! So an est. 200 HP is a very significant gain, big bank for the buck.

The LS has an inline pump and a Vortech FMU installed. All 100% STOCK, with the simplest, cheapest turbo kit available. The car came with the spoiler and big wheels. So what? The plan has always been to ditch the spoiler and get better rims. Give us a break! We were just driving our daily driven STREET cars for FUN. Not show or race cars. Relax man.

My friend has had his LS maybe 2 years or so. After paying it off, about one year ago he saved up a little money and got the turbo kit. Nothing fancy on a stock LS. Tried to dyno-tune it but had wastegate problems and had to leave. But tune good enough to boost on, just not optimum. That's why we GUESS 200 HP. Video is from early September '09.

The GOAL: to build one of those bad ass LS Turbos w/o VTEC. Pistons, rods, cams, etc. Full build coming 2010. =)
