Thanks amillion for the dandelion information. I never knew this wild plants can be eaten. I was thinking its aweed and i've always been throwing them away. Today was my second time to eat them just plain and WOW! I feel very alert and i can feel the blood flowing on my head. So am truelly going to be eating them like arabbit!!
I have so many Dandelions in my yard it's insane. I've been drying them to use for tea. Thanks so much for all the great info. I think I'll be making some oil today. :) My kids like to help pick too.
Very good video, I always thought of these Dandelions as something to kick but like most other 'weeds' or plants they are useful. I might even grow some.
Ok, the uses seem great, but I am still thinking that I could never eat the flower itself. I know
all parts are edible, but the truth is, my stomach was turning at some point when I saw how people
just ate them from the grass, fritterizing them, it just made my stomach turn, but as I learn
more, if you are a dandelion person, and you like them, great! Happy eating!

There are sometimes bugs in dandelions, can we wash them before we use the dandelions to make oil and tea?
oneperipatetic 2 years ago
@oneperipatetic I would make sure the flowers are completely dry of water before making the oil.

@sherrosgirl Yes, that is OK as long as you are not using anything to kill plants or bugs on your lawn.
