IMO, I don't see Hamilton pushing for the title next year. Instead, he'll be battling for 3rd/4th place with Webber and Massa, whilst Alonso, Button and Vettel duke it out between themselves. Plus, McLaren historically start poorly in a season, so I can see Kimi getting close with Hamilton.

Anyone who says Lewis Hamilton is a bad driver I'm afraid knows absolutely nothing about Formula 1 racing. He and Fernando Alonso are far and away the best competitors on the grid. Button, Vettel (he has far and away the best car before you pull me up on that), Webber and Rosberg are all supremely talented but they lack the intensity and winning mentality that Alonso and Hamilton have. It was great to see the two of them on good terms in Abu Dhabi, a lot of mutual respect.

The harsh truth is that he's not having a bad season is he? He makes far too many mistakes every single year. He's very quick but he just can't seem to get his act together when it comes to not making silly little mistakes. Jenson, Fernando, Sebastian, Nico... are better all round drivers, Lewis can sometimes pull out an amazing lap time but unfortunately that's all he has on them in my opinion. Hope he improves soon though. Would be good to see more than one brit at the front. :)

Let's get some perspective here. 1 bad season doesn't make a bad driver. Senna had a shocker in 92, Mansell in 90, Prost in 91, Schumacher in 96 & Alonso in 2007, 2008. Lewis has had a bad season just like so many great drivers before him have. Why don't we all wait until hamilton's career is over before we all judge him. Had we judged Mansell after his first 5 seasons then we would have written him off as a nobody. Food for thought.

Jenson has made mistakes, and he still makes the odd mistake, but he's never been in a situation where he's made a mistake at nearly every race for an entire season. I'm not saying Lewis is a bad driver, he's very fast and has an incredible talent, he's pulled off some amazing overtakes and stuff and had some great wins. But in my mind, Jenson is a better all round driver, he's the complete package. If he was black nothing would change in F1.

What I'm trying to tell you is that if they are working with different machinery, you can't compare them based on their results. Lewis was in a title challenging Mclaren, Jenson was in a slow Honda. Last year was his 1st at McLaren so I don't believe that's a fair comparison, also he wasn't THAT far behind Lewis.

If you seriously think that there are any drivers in f1 who would be unable to win in the fastest car, then you are seriously lacking in knowledge of how motorsport works. They're all there for a reason. Rosberg is a very good driver too, I just thought I'd point that out. Best drivers in F1 = Button, Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton, Rosberg, Di Resta, Kobayashi. The incident was his fault and only slightly got it wrong. If he hadn't locked up he would have been able to duck underneath Massa and pulled off a fantastic overtake which we would all praise him for.
