i heard getting an aem adjustable cam will push an f22b1 to 200+ h.p is it tru?

@MAHRTINLOWKS No, Wherever you heard that is completely untrue. The motor by itself has no way to generate that type of power with just a cam gear.

@MrJdmcd7 It is the ABS pump attempting to pressurize the system. Usually it will happen when the pump is not working properly or if you have a leak somewhere

just wondering why do you use the short ram instead of the CAI?

@HinduWreck420 This is a very good questions; At the time of testing we were using the AEM Short ram, however the need for more power called for a cold air type of Intake. We have since switched to the AEM V2 intake system which is CARB legal for use in California where we reside. This intake allowed us to make more power which in turn provided more gain with a cold air intake advantage.

im curious about the numbers after the cam myself. i have a 12:1 86mm f22b1 with a stock head. was considering using the f22aX heads, because they are supposed to flow much better. id really like to see what the b1 could do though.

It was a 24.7 hp increase over stock

My f22b2 NON-VTEC almost the exact same as ur baseline made 130whp and 142 wtq....weak engine?

Yes correct our engine should be showing about 140psi or above in all cylinders however at the time of testing it was at about 115-120psi which shows us that the motor is very tired and needs a rebuild. However..having said that the vehicle STILL pulls very nicely hahahah A true testament to the Honda motors

The Accord puts out that number with modified AEM short ram intake with apexi filter, DC Header, no name highflow cat, Magnaflow exhaust and ALT/PS Unorthodox racing pulleys and upgraded grounds.

The Unorthodox pulleys you were running there did underdrive or just stock size?

They are the Ultra A, OEM Sized pulleys.
