  • No disrespect to Mexican fans, but I wish there is less Mex influence in MLS because Americans wants their own identity when it comes to world football,Mexican football has already been long established and US want their own identity, If Chivas USA change their name they can get a better draw from non-Mexican fans, their name is so exlusively for mexicans and that will not sell to Americans.

  • True and I understand where you are coming from. BUt remember that without Latinos( I said Latinos because thats what i think you mean when you said mexicans) that MLS would lose a lot of money. Like it or not Latinos had help the MLS grow. I think the solution for your problem is simple get more americans involved.

    Mexicans: People born in mexico.

Latinos: People born and Central and South America.

  • I meant Mexicans, and yes latinos helped MLS grow no doubt but partially not totally, they support a few MLS teams but not all,I've been to matches in Kansas city and New England where theres no big concentration of hispanics. For the most part a lot of Americans corrolate soccer as a Mexican sport exclusively when its not,its the worlds game, its sounds ignorant but thats the way they see it, but inspite of it there are more americans into soccer now than before.
