  • Antologija BRE.

  • WOW!

  • i love the drummergirl, she s the same as `when do i get to sing my way´´ (i think so), soooooo sexy, thanks for posting pal

  • @browncow11000- i remember this as a kid from tv in 1974. It's very addictive, still. I like the way this performance adds original '74 b&w footage. The band do a great job here.

  • white room ,best tv music prog ever ,bring it back ,radcliffe best dj ,presenter ever ..

  • I was living in England when this song came out. I HAD to get the 45 after watching them perform on 'Top of the Pops.' STILL a cool song!

  • My first ever record purchase 1974

  • Das ist ZEHR frickin good................

  • Bernie luv! :D

  • whoa still so cool. timelessly ahead of this and the former times. dig it.

  • There is no other band than Sparks. Absolutely marvellous. I love them.

  • Don't rate Russell's hairdo here for øne minute.

Oh well.we can't keep our 7T's cool for the rest of our lives, even the Stones don't manage THAT.

  • you go bernard coco

  • Sparks has long been one of my favorite music artists. Way ahead of their time. I've just started looking at their videos on YouTube, but so far this one is my favorite--though it's live, it conveys the excitement and unique style of their music.

  • Still got it, great song

  • I want to cover this song, I also want to hire that drummer. (Y)

  • This originally came out in 1974 but it is totally undated. This band were seriously ahead of their time - and very influential on a range of new wave and post punk acts in the UK and thereon to what became "alternative".

  • Absolutely epic....

  • The guitarist and drummer are just loving it aren't they and why not, it's not everyday you can take part in a classic like this. Awesome... what a great post!!!

  • The hottie on the drums is Cristi Haydon, also from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Seriously.

  • brilliant song - love it!

  • hmm... what year..rofl

  • This is probably my favorite performance of this song. Love the percussions in this.

  • Love these two, classics. And I think im in love with that drummer @.@

  • Queen was the best and Freddie was a pure genius but Sparks is AWESOME and I'm totally in love with the white shirt and tie guy.

  • silly at 42 if you took care of yourself you can look sexier than one of 20

  • the singer looks so good for a then 42 year old man

now he is 56 and looks still good

maybe plastic surgery maybe good genes :-)

  • I think he is 60 now.

  • I meant 61. Born in 1948.

  • what amazing short circuit!

  • awesome! i love sparks! and very cool that bernard butler did a guest spot on guitar too!

  • 'Lousy hair 'style' Russ.....

  • Brilliant editing! Thanks so much for posting

    5 stars & favorited

  • WOW the song saw already 20 years old.

  • Always thought he Should have replaced Freddy Mercury!

  • @Bodebodango i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE russell, but i respectfully disagree. NO ONE could EVER replace freddie. they are 2 absolute music geniuses and neither could ever replace either. both are awesome in their own unique ways. however, it would have been super awesome if QUEEN and SPARKS could have done some sort of collaboration at some point back in the day...how freaking cool would that have been? =)~

  • What I meant to say is after his death! Freddies voice was the best at Live Aid and even then he sounded his best in the studio! Russel can still bring the falsetto and would have sounded way better than the shite I saw at the Hollywood bowl a couple years ago with the new Queen! There is not a lot of queens songs Russel could not hit, trust me I love Queen and Freddy but when it comes down to brass tacks Russel at his age is an amazing vocalist and could easily give Queen there old sound back!

  • irrepressible art~!

  • that girl on the drums is awesome!!-anyone know who she is?

  • Christi Haydon

  • Comment removed

  • That's my girlfiend!

  • Christie Haydon. She is also an actress and has (I think) had a recurring role in one of the Star Trek series.

Not only is she talented, but beautiful too.

And this coming from a homosexual male.

  • Niel spurt

  • love 2 watch the guitarist in this video total turn on man he can play like he feels the music ....total turn on!!!

  • Next week, how to use Google.

  • What year is this?

  • Like it says in the description, 1995.

  • Fantastic. I just realized how much the song Wizards in Winter By Trans-Siberia Orchestra sounds like it.

  • "Universally Cherished"? Yeah, not so much in the U.S.

Although Ron and Russell are from L.A., few here have heard of them here, alas.

"A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country." Nobody has heard of Sparks in the U.S.

    Except me--a fan since 1974

  • Love this and all from Sparks!!!

  • Ron is so cool

  • I remember watching this on channel 4.What a top song and bernard is the best!

  • i cant believe - i always wanted to see this. thank you for posting
