I don't see anyone talking about the "temple prostitutes". Sex was a spiritual activity in pegan religion. The male prostitutes were for men. In Revelations John talks about "that Jezebel".Some believe churches harnes for homosexuals and women originate in this. Pauls stated women shouldn't speak if men were present. In private they may ask questions. Most all churches have come to terms with the extream pressures of the past. Women speak all the time. It's a better arguement.

Too all Christians that judge people based on "sin"... read 2 Corinthians 5:19 which says God is no longer counting sin against anyone (for the last 2000 years) and Romans 5:13 & Romans 4:15 - both of which tell us that sin is not held against anyone who was not under the Mosaic Law... and only the ancient Jews were under that Law as part of their Old Covenant which has now been obsolete for 2000 years... Hebrews 8:13

Ask God to show you truth, because "Christiandom" is blind to the truth!

This song is one big fat lie. Christ is only in whose who have turned from sin. If we choose to live in sin then Christ is not with us. You can't be gay and christian, you are either one or the other. I pray God opens all your eyes to the truth. Romans 1 is clear about this.

@georrush I realize this is an old comment, but, it's not even really that. There are lots of things that christians are and do today that would've gotten them killed in Old Testament days (Nobody's perfect). Because of this, Christ fulfilled the law and came to save us. When we start condemning each other and turning BACK to legalism, then we are forgetting what Christ died for and only putting him back on the cross. Ephesians 4 is clear about this.

One political point: by putting "gay christian" in quotes, it makes it sound like an anti-gay message implying that you can't really be both. I think you should get rid of the quotation marks.
