I ordered one and it wouldn't work. Opened the case and a bunch of the pins were bent and I suspect broken. Waste of money

Yes, I'm in Europe. The car is VW GOLF III. Engine 1.9 TDI AHU. It's working also on Kia Ceed 1.6 CRDi 2009.I don't know what kind the ODB is. Also what protocol. The software is Carman, running on Maemo and N800 tablet.

Are you in Europe ? Because in Europe it's EOBD and not OBD, so I would like to know if this ELM327 Bleutooth Dongle of DX work with EOBD.
