An excellent method to use while working towards increasing your push-up is; Progressive push-ups. Start out just doing 5 push-ups for 5 sets. Each day do an additional push-up or set. After several months you should be able to do 20 sets of 10 push-ups. I can currently do 50-10 within an hour, its incredible.
A good tip to do those reverse push ups if you're doing this at home and don't have a bar is to go lay under a table and use the table's edge as the bar.
@armenianderick yes almost the same muscles but from a different angle, if you can do pullups do them and go with your hands wide as you can to get a better muscle activation, pullups are the best exercise to widen your torso
@badboy4lyfe88 I can probably do 40 push ups and 12 chin ups (tops) but if i grab a chair and support my legs from behind my body, I can knock out a lot and still feel it. Im just hoping its a good complementary muscular systems.

I feel like im really strong when it comes to lifting my legs. But when it comes to sprinting, running statiums, and any kind of stop and go motion that requires me to drive with my legs, i find that i become burnt out very fast. have been over training my legs to the point that they are strong but have no endurance at all?

Pushups, any calinsthetics can be improved just by simply doing more VOLUME. Just build up your muscle endurance, simple. Its not like getting stronger lifting weights where you have to overload your CNS.
i use to do push like getting some rest after each set,by doing push ups like this i use to do more than 30 push ups.So that's pretty good way to increase your count
@mbsfaridi i put a closet rod across two counters in my kitchen. It also works if you have any type of bar that can support your weight and two chairs. you just have to get a little creative.
