@WithBloodSkies They sound pretty good, those lame jerks like you who talk shit about the vocals are just that, jerks. If you don't like it, then shut the fuck up, believe me he's not gonna do anything about his voice just because u say so.
I have to agree with BioGenocideSCD. The vocals doesn't lack at all, it adds to the character. If I'm not mistaken I see them labelled as "PROGRESSIVE death metal", which may describe the atypical vocal style.
Personally, the vocals is perhaps the biggest factor, in music, for creating a character. But that's just my opinion.
I'd disagree, vocals aren't terrible, they definitely don't ruin the song. Growling could use improvement but it's still an awesome song especially growling combined with the singing.
I think the vocalist could be great if he just worked on refining his technique. With his style especially, I think it's absolutely crucial to be dynamic with the notes that he chooses. If you're going to throw that much voice in, you HAVE to compliment the music you're singing to. The vocalization becomes more melodic and less percussive than a standard growl or scream.
I'm not dissing the vocals at all, but some music just doesn't require vocals. You know? A band with this kind of talent needs to just focus on there musical theory. The vox can be saved for another band.
The music was good, the vocals wrecked it. I definitely agree with most of the other comments on here, they need a new vocalist, then I could actually listen to this band.
I like it, but I kinda have to agree with the people slagging off your singer. Try getting him to hold notes longer, so it sounds more like a roar or scream than a short grunt. Vocal effects could be made good use of too.
Your vocalist can use some work. He's using mainly black metal/hardcore vocals, for a progressive Death metal band. Doesn't really fit in. other than that, good job.
@templetheory It fits in perfectly man! Listen to Death, one of the founders of DeathMetal. Chuck Schuldiner never screamed like the guys from Nile, or Cannibal Corpse or The Faceless or Neuraxis etc...... And either way, who gives? It's their sound. If they don't want to sound like another contemporary death metal band, it's their choice.
@13spite13 Thats what I was thinking when i read the other comments, like who gives a fuck, thats the sound theyre shooting for, sounds pretty straight to me.
Killer drums!!!

To me it sounds like the vocals would be better if he used the heavier growling style to sing (as in not monotone growling).

i was kinda digging the vocals. idk why everyone is hating though.

I strangely like the Vox, its new and different... Let the band do what they want but I for one think the vocals done this way fit the band...

I was intrigued until the singer arrived. Lose that guy..... Drummer is great. Guitar parts are decent but kinda static feeling.

The vocals are a tad weak but like any instrument it can be improved. Not everyone starts with an A-grade voice in the music industry

they dont need a new vocalist ..... they dont NEED a vocalist, the music is fuckin TITS all by itself!

Guys, if you don't like the singer just do not listen to this. To me they (vocals&instruments) blend well. It's death - love it or hate it.

Please get a different "singer", the music is near perfect, but that guy starts spewing sound out and it just completely wrecks the whole thing.

Yep guys time to find a new singer..weak harsh and weak cleans..the instrumentation is far too superior to have weak vocals like this

@MisterIonia agreed. Music is very Death-Cynic oriented. Please, Martin, just stick to writing awesome songs and search out a new vocalist.
