  • you can turn the smile mode off

  • i have a baby. i wanna capture when she smiles.

    i want this phone

  • This is a camera, not a phone

  • @pump3344 the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has this feature and it takes pictures when you smile its so funny :P

  • is there a setting so i can take a picture by myself, without the smile detection mode, just a normal mode, also known as "auto"

  • gud question i don't like to smile all da time....

  • I've been wanting to get a new camera every since my old one broke. I've been doing a lot of research on this one. I want a nice one like this because it has 10 megapixels and has some cool colors. Are there any special flaws I should know about before buying this??

  • Dont buy this cam, Blurry pics, VR does not work at all. Image quality is horrible. lot of noise at low light conditions. I used to love nikon's old compacts, new ones are a totaly different breed.. :(

  • I TOTALLY 1OO% agree...This camera is REALLY DULL and BAD IMAGE QUALITY

  • can this camera take pictures in black and white and sephia?¿? please somebody respond!

  • Yes.

  • is this camera good for you?¿

  • I've been researching it for awhile but I just bought it yesterday when the price dropped, so I haven't had time to use it much. I like the size and the fact that it has more than a 3X zoom. It will 'replace' my Coolpix 4800, as it's more compact. The one feature I thought it lacked (grid lines on the LCD for framing) I found that it did have, you just have to look for them.

  • yes you can =)

  • Just purchased this cam and have to say I love it.

  • I bought it yesterday too. It's a real nice camera for those like me who doesn't know much about photo shooting. The only bad thing is the electronic stabilization.

Anyway I tried night shots and it was great

  • To be honest, this cam made me very interested in photographing, not just the usual party and vacation pictures. So now I consider buying a dSLR :D

  • What does it mean "dSLR"? Maybe a reflex? I agree with you, this camera can train you to take professional photos

  • but isn't "optic stabilization" better than electronic stabilization?

  • whoa that is soo weird... snaps when u smile lol

  • wat if ur not mood to smile wat if u wanna take pic of cat or anyfink dat don't smile den waz gonna happen
