@mizjennay1313 Yeah that was it I managed to find my ticket stub...June 29, 1990. Some of the crowd left after Metallica so we were able to move up real close to the stage for Aerosmith.
i really like Black Crowes, but Jealous Guy seems fake to me when it's covered different from Lennon's version. They put their own style, and that's nice, but only Lennon singing sounded true
@harvey20c I agree, but my point is their version just don't fit the feeling of this music. Listen Legião Urbana's cover, in A Montanha Música. It's brazilian rock of high class level and you'll understand what I'm saying. Anyway, Black Crowes rocks!
@Zakdayak Anymore their whole stage presence and attitude is that of The Band. It's just a whole different show seeing them two weeks ago than it was 10 years ago. But it's all amazing.
Weather Chris wants to admit it or not, at the very least his stage moves are very late 60's, early 70's Rod Stewart. And the Faces also did a great cover of Jealous Guy
Chirs own words taken from the Rolling Stone interview:
He's also sick of hearing about his great debt of influence to Rod Stewart. "Hey, the Replacements could have been the Faces. To me it's so obvious I'm a Steve Marriott rip-off that I never think about Rod. I admit it. Steve Marriott is the guy, him and Paul Rogers and Gregg Allman."
So there you go, knowing Marriott's work in Small Faces and Humble Pie is hard to arguing and deny!!!

Well not maybe lots, but some. You mean that started in the last 45 years or made music? If the latter, then I'd say Neil Young, Ray Davies, Rory Gallagher (R.I.P.) and Nick Cave. And probably Chris Robinson. I've never seen what's so special about Lennon.. or McCartney. Well, that's just my opinion, of course :)
Wow..ok, I respect your opinion. Lennon/McCartney had more no 1 hits than anyone ever and over 1 billion records sold, that's pretty special. I do agree with you on Neil Young, probably my 3rd favorite.
