I can name some things good about woodrow wilson,

womens voting rights, league of nations which was a precursor to the UN, we liberated europe from the germans, established the federal trade commission, led antitrust actions against railroad monopolies and the monopoly of standard oil

Sure he silenced dissent during WW1, but not down the barrel of a gun to the extent that the Russians or Germans did during both world wars. I don't know of any mass genocide going on in the states at that time. I agree that the fed needs more oversight and contributes to inflation, but blaming wilson for something greenspan did 80 years later seems a bit irrational.

@rosstube I can't stand Glenn Beck, but Wilson was a naive idealist who brought the US into WWI largely-unprepared, and ignorant. Instead of letting Europe duke it out and actually come to an even settlement, he entered our forces, gave the British and French the little bit of manpower (cannonfodder) they needed to beat Germany, and create the Versailles Treaty. Versailles sowed the seeds of WWII by carving up Germany and its colonies b/t the French and British and making them pay for the war.
