  • great

  • do you not tone your canvas before you paint on it? If so, is there any reason why not?

  • What kind of brush did you use to make the the black tree? to me it sort of looks like a sponge brush almost

  • You have inspired me to start drawing again <3

    Thank you!!

  • This is brilliant Tim! I really love your work. I have one really random question...Do you listen to music when you paint?

  • hmm, what is your inspiration for painting solitary trees standing out from the rest?

  • I love your paintings! it's great!

  • what color are you using is it hookers green?

  • Wonder where this cute painter went? Probably in Turkey with some gorgeous hippie girl called Pansy or something.

Anyway, I really DO like the lessons.

  • I love your videos!!!!!!!! Where can you get an awesome easel like that???

  • All your painting are gorgeous!

  • Great Tutorial Tim. I am a great fan of your paintings. Just a question, hv you mixed mixed black with payne's grey for the dark green grass. They say usually black is not used for landscapes ????

  • its so hard to find a good artist to learn from these days but since watching u paint iv learned more then i did when i was in art class in high school, keep painting!

  • hi i really love ur work..i have learned so many things..i am waiting for more tutorials please.

  • The red in the tree ruins it.

  • Great!!

  • U are amazing.. i love watching your vedios.. God bless you

  • When you paint the leaves on the tree do u wait for the dark background color to dry or do u go over with your secondary color while its wet. If you do go over it while its still wet how do you keep the colors from mixing? Thanks in advance for answering.

  • @Death82 He waits for the black pigment to dry, and then with a secondary color he paints over is.... the black undercoat is for depth.

  • this is my favorite of all the paintings on you tube. amazing composition and contrast of colour.

  • Hi huge fan ever since, one question thought did you use green+blue for the first color for the trees? or black?

  • I'm either going to try replicate this as best as I can or go to his website to see if it's still up for sale.

  • great stuff... only 1 thing though. the cast shadow from the tree on the grass, wouldn't be that thick from this angle.
