I don't know guys, even as kittens, if my cats didn't want me holding onto them, they clawed the hell outta me. So, I'm not sure the whole "monkey keeping kitten hostage" argument works quite as well; it's not like cats aren't born with the instinct to protect themselves. I do agree that it's sad that the monkey is on the chain though, but maybe that's why it wants company so much? Just a theory.

(It could also have been born in captivity and wouldn't last a minute in the wild. Just saying.)
