I like the story of this song, of how it began on the Innocent Blood cd and then was fleshed out in it;s enitrety on the Glenn Kaiser Band cd :"Carolina Moon." If the first version was too short for some, the second version is more fleshed out in detail. How cool that a song smoldered for about 20 years into a longer version.
this tune first appeared in acoustic form o innocent blood. then rez broke up .gkb finally did a band trio blues rock version on one of their releases. i luv rez band .
Glen & wife have been in an inner-city ministry for years reaching out to forgotten ones. The ones traditional churches just "can't see". We have to reach out...out there, if we expect them to know about love.
Thank you for posting this! This song has pretty much everything in order, good tune, great lyrics, well played and sung by a great band. More Glenn Kaiser, PLEASE!
The song here is "Rooster Crow" from the Innocent Blood cd. And Kooldude02, does it matter if Glenn is fat or skinny? He's a great guy with incredible skills with an awesome musical outreach. C'mon, if you don't love to see and hear these rare videos then why bother posting? Hey, pick on me. I'm getting fat too. I love to EAT. :)
One of the very BEST vocalists ever. Rez Band was soooooOOOOooo good.
