the box office for this movie made 2 million. alot of people called it a flop, but all of the sudden, music classes are playing it and the songs are in the kids head for 3 weeks. I live in NJ and one of our respected theatres are putting on one of the first productions of this show, they need to make 2 new songs. When alen manken found out, his agent said "dont worry about it they will handle it" he stood up and said "uh, NO. This is my baby and im writting those songs."

Most came from New York, and have spent their whole life being spoiled, and that's the only thing that makes camera crews and TV managers/ producers suddenly interested in them. Because they think they're all that, so they make it into a show.

@CrystalLightning1 I have to keep saying the same thing. I grew up in Woodbridge which is about 2 hrs from NY. They assume all Jersey people are like those in Sopranos or Jersey Shore. I don't act like that. Fact is depending where you are in NJ it can vary. South Jersey tends to have an influence from Philly and North Central Jersey has more of a NY influence really because of the respective radio and TV stations that service them. People won't get it till they see it for themselves.
