I too had this surgery and the surgeon DID tape it for me. This is an incredible procedure considering that I only had 8 weeks or so to live if that from the time it was discovered. I found out I had it because my LEG BECAME NUMB for short periods. The LEG. How about that? It felt like my right leg would fall asleep after driving home from work and laying down for a short stretches would fix it... Lo and Behold... Colloid... OMG!!! I've just had this procedure, and I'm pleased to say, it was 100% successful. I jokingly asked the Surgeon if he could film it for me, not realising that there would be video of it on You Tube.
