For some correction ´krabi krabong´ is mot `muay thai`. Krabi means sword and krabong means staff. Not really the same okay. When fighters loose their weapons then they would fight with bare hands...

So they would use muay boran instead...and muay boran splits it up in 4 style by each region has its own skills...also different way of `kard chuerk`(wrapped the arm in cotton twine) too. Muay boran is very dangerous and deadly.

Now these days most ppl only know about modern muay thai.

Sitbatan shut your ass up. The Thais copied the original art from Cambodia which is called "Predal Seray" and called it Muay Thai to give themselves credit. Predal Seray is much much more deadlier. the reason why Muay Thai was only recognized is becuase the THAIs and gov. had the money to show it off with, therefore Cambodia poverty like had nothing!
