Why does your 51 not have a latch?

Hey, new Balisong owner here. I got it from a import goods store and I've been watching some vids on youtube, been doing some practice tricks.I notice that the screw near the blade have loosened with practice and it gets easier to do tricks with, but I'm worried the blade may fall apart. can you give me some tips on maintenance and care, as well as what is a 'good' place for the knife to be in terms of how tight the joints are? Love your vids.

@Pogiforce if you spent less than 50 bucks, it's probably gonna fall apart if you can already notice the loosening of the pins/ screws. If it has torque adjustment knobs use a tool to tighten the screws, keep it oiled and dust free, don't use it for anything stupid and you should be good. thats all I got.

I had one of these, but it broke after like two weeks, the plastic is kinda... huh... how do I put this? Well, it simply breaks off in pieces like a pie crust or a cracker, but that does take a while, about 2 weeks if you do it a lot, or drop it sometimes.

@Snoekvisser1972 hey man thanks for the comments!! I removed the latch cause with the free-moving latch on the 51 it was making alot of noise, also I kinda did it because I was bored too, I got a chance to see how the knife works and will probably put the latch on again soon anyway.

@CalviNNation Thanks for clearing that up, makes sense. It is noisy compared to a 42 but it doesn't bother me that much. Looks quite nice without the latch, clean and simple. No more latch drops LOL.
