@DrummerSGX92 Chris wrote the lyrics, not the music... Slash did the music, sent it to Chris and he added lyrics. If you find it to be a pop song, blame Slash.

Well for one the multi track to Chris's voice to make it sound echoy, is very popish. The difference I see with rock and pop rock, is that rock is usually grindy, distorted, dirty, sounding. While pop is polished and simplified.
