Tetsu is definitely NOT a bad singer. What the problem is, is that this music isn't his favorite. Not saying the song's from this one album weren't amazing and he didn't care about them, but they just weren't in his area of specialty. That's why he quit, and soon after formed the alternative rock band ZIGZO. Check that band out before you judge him on singing, he's a lot better there.

Meh. I like a few songs of the Tetsu Era, but his singing is WAY too uncontrolled... it fits for some of the songs, but for others, it doesnt really fit- Kioku To Sora for example, I prefer the Klaha version myself.

Klaha and Gackt were I think, the best vocalists. Gack's era they became more famous, and Klaha's era, they became more gothic. in the end though, each era had its moments, and each vocalist brought something to the table.

El vídeo es viejo, pero la canción no ha perdido frescura. Es excelente, y desde la marcha de Tetsu tuvieron que pasar muchos años para que Kioku to Sora volviese a ser cantada con todo su esplendor, con Klaha. Porque Gakt nunca dominó bien esta canción las veces que la cantó en directo.

You do realize that Klaha's "version" was not called Kioku to Sora and it had different lyrics and a different arrangement. So technically, it's a diff song that just used the same riff.

Tetsu's got talent. His voice is unique, definately. But it isn't horrid. Klaha has a slower, more automaton voice (part of the reason I like him), Gackt... I'm not so fond of Gackt. His voice just isn't that unique. Tetsu's got emotion, energy. Good stuff.

Plus, does anyone look at the lyrics? Tetsu's are far better than any Gackt song, MM or solo.

To me, Tetsu was the best singer in Malice Mizer. Gackt and Klaha both have a great voice, too, but Tetsu's voice is powerful and has a lot of energy. That's the feeling which Gackt and Klaha couldn't give me, IMO.

All I can say is that is definately a unique voice that kid's got. I love it. Tetsu really brought a different feel to MM back in the good ol' days. I adore Gackt, and am honestly not familiar enough with Klaha to make a comment about him, but they're all different. It's the diverse talent that seperates J-pop/rock from western stuff IMO, and that's why I love it. So huzza for Tetsu! (The carpet on his head here is a little scary, though. teehee. Just teasing. He's got a cute face. ;) )
