  • "More currants (currents!) on a flippin' Eccles cake!" pmsl! Fred was always trying to get his wicked way with Bet, and she always had deliciously bitchy put downs at the ready for him lol! Corrie at its brilliant best, not like nowadays. It's gone downhill since the tram crash, who wants to watch depressing stories about miscarriages and suicide attempts and rape etc.

  • RIP Betty :(

  • Five Corrie greats there, Annie Walker, Stan Ogden, Eddie Yeats, Fred Gee and Len Fairclough, yet within 18 months time, all five would be gone from the Street forever.

  • @Kevinasp Yeah that is so true 1983/84 was real transistional period in the show, where lot of the heyday characters left, to replaced by the newer generation of teh show, some who would still be around in 25 years time.

  • One of the best Corrie episodes of the 80's for definite.

  • "and may I say if it included dustbin men it would have mine". Classic stuff here.

  • The part where Bet and Betty are stuck in the water shouting at Fred is absolutely hilarious

  • @IATM29 Lol that was, did anything ever go right for Fred Gee in his time in Weatherfield.

  • Lmao, this classic Coronation Street.

  • @SeanieRockz THE FINAL PARTS OF THIS EPISODE WILL BE UPLOADED ASAP.

    (UPLOADING PROBLEMS)
