  • What year is this? 1905?

  • lol the program and computer hes using. When was this made?!?!?

  • is that the 80s?

  • Dude this was actually really informative besides the fact that it's probably from the eightees. It shows your simple beat mathematics. A formula for time stretching that I never knew before.... pretty epic

  • you look like dave coulier (joey from full house)

  • I have a question . Im using 2 keyboards live to trigger my fantom XR rack. I have a merge box for the 2 keyboards so i can use both on the fantom.

Everything works fine but sometimes the bottom keyboard will drift out of tune and I have to restart the controller . What causes this? It seems to happen when I hit the mod wheel> anybody know ?

  • can i hear my ableton back through my keyboard that has speakers,,thought simple question but ableton only answer questions i dont need to know...

  • That dude hacked a cash register to handle his midi samples.

  • what soft was that ?

  • how d o you put samples on a m-Audio Axiom 49?

  • what u have, is a midi controller, that means, u just can do that in the prog. -.-

  • lol u guys stop bashing the old kewl analog stuff :D funkiest grooviest stuff ever built :D minimoog or roland tr303 & tb909 (House music monsters) :D all fat analog babies, no digital emulation achieved this organic sound so far!

  • lol though its oldder,, it helped alot,,thanks

  • I've got a yamaha ypg225 how in the hell do i hook it up to my computer to use as a midi? i've tried everything. thanks

  • Yeah, who the hell knows. I have the same problem. Yamaha sells a proprietary midi interface... so probably they deliberately make it difficult to use anything else. I've tried direct recording from the headphones but get hiss. Lesson learned: Don't ever buy a Yamaha for use as a midi or synth.

  • wow look at this dinosaur software

  • LOLOL MACGIVIER!!!

  • I just love the way he said "wow that's a lot of fun"

I replayed it over and over again and it made me laugh!

  • You just wait!! This haircut's gonna be the bomb again...someday ;) !! Dunno what I was thinking!

  • Can that software run 8 - bit samples? It's quite... aged lol!

And the same goes for the guys hair O_o

or dus everything have to be vinyl or wat?

  • wow that DAW looks like my bios! what was that comp anyways? a 386? nah bet he had a top of the line 486 with 8megs ram! yeah, 120mhz baby!

  • I was like is he making adjustments to the monitor?

No that was the actually midi program menu he was messing with.

  • yep. now thats what i call retro.

  • hes pretty good for a guy with a mullet

  • the mullet is the source of his power. it keeps creative ideas stored warmly in the neck

  • o man you just made my laugh my ass off ty

  • well, mullets have longs been a good great source of amusement for me. i grew up in a town where i was lucky enough to see whole families with mullets 8-D

  • Hahaha, that had me laughing through the video :P

  • Suure. There areseveral ways to work with samples, and there areusually several ways to accomplish any one thing... I love my Fantom X6 and am constantly learning new ways to work with it.

  • thanx.. i already have a mpc 2500, but after seeing so many videos the fantom x seems a bit tempting!!!

  • This guy does the Fantom S and X videos for Roland. That's an Akai S1000 keyboard version, by the way...

  • never heard of this keyboard.. can you have a different sample on each key of a fantom x?? was thinking about getting one...
