Critics can say SNL is better than MadTV, but when MadTV does a parody, they commit to it fully...and hire versatile actors...who can be funny..wait...and sing..wait...and speak different languages...wait...and not rely solely on petulant actors only there to peddle the crappy movie that's coming out that week that they're starring in. Has anyone been watching SNL this year? It's like somebody trying to pee in the dark with the toilet seat down...just a miss all around!!

I remember my grandmother use to watch novelas all the time and this captured it perfectly. (the camera constantly moving, the over acting, dramatic music, the dialouge) My favorite part is when Alex Borstein's character says her own name, realizes it, then looks around

Im`m from Argentina, and I can Say that Alex borstein has a pretty good pronunciation...she's quite good, wich is awesome because many english speaking people find very hard to speak in spanish properly. If you don`t believe me, just listen to Madonna's "la isla bonita"

Uh... yeah, "A Man, Two Women" - you don't really have to speak spanish to get the sketch, half the dialogue is just names, then there's "snack cracker", which she clarified as a trisquit. It's just making fun of all the lame Mexican Soap Operas out there... seriously, flip on Telemundo sometime.
