@makosful96 Yeah, pretty crappy camera - just a simple webcam. I might do a new video with my current HD, but probably not, as other people have already made superior devices. Right now I've relegated my resources to movie prop devices/effects/etc., and plan to diversify my areas of expertise than focus on something singular like weaponry.

@IDonutI Yeah, well certain parts are fake, like the Coke stab (the internal spring did not have enough natural rigidity to go through the can by itself). A tutorial would probably make it look pretty dumb though. The gist of how it works is dual tension (three main springs, pulling it either fully out or fully in, and one "trigger" spring). When enough force is supplied, the top most spring (connected to the "trigger") extends the bottom spring - thus knife extension. Vice versa for retraction

lol not too bad of a device, not gonna ridicule except for the fact it could be a sharper point from what i saw. when u "stabbed" the can it didnt really penetrate, you kinda stabbed it it didnt work and then u pushed it on the blade with your other hand which was lame. make it a longer blade and get a whetstone and sharpen it. mechanically its good except the blade is too short. coolness it kinda failed with th whole slide the can on deal.

Hey man that's pretty cool. The blade could be a bit longer, you know kinda go past the finger tips. I was trying to think of an activation method for it to extend and retract but I guess you got it going good here. Although I want suggest, to put that at the back of the hand, it'll still bend backwards to extend the blade, but now you can climb without anything to get in the way.
