  • RIP RAKEEM

  • This is according to Professor Griff and history proves him correct .

Public Enemy rocked the Establishment , and the music industry wasn't having it bcs they control the agenda , the trends and everything in " entertainment " .

NWA was used to marginalize P.E. why , the "entertainment " Industry isn';t connect to bankers and military industrial complex , they ARE ONE IN THE SAME

Hence , dope , sex and guns is what we got , why , cause that's what they wanted -p doped up kid easier to control

  • @ 3:02

" ELVIS... WAS A HERO TO MOST, BUT HE N-E-V-E-R MEANT SHIT TO ME... YOU SEE, STRAIGHT OUT, RACIST THE SUCKA' WAS, SIMPLE AND PLAIN...

MOTHER-FUCK HIM AND JOHN WAYNE !!!!

CAUSE I'M BLACK AND I'M PROUD.... ALREADY I'M HYPED CAUSE I'M AMPED...

MOST OF MY HEROES DON'T APPEAR ON NO STAMP !!! "

*** PEACE TO THE GODS AND THE EARTHS !!!

  • @leoisjustchillin037 Elvis was NOT a racist!!! Chuck D was wrong about that.Elvis loved everybody & was color blind.I challenge anybody to say different.Did you ever here the stories about him giving brand new cars to poor black ppl??? An old african american gentleman told Elvis one time at a gas station in Memphis that he liked the new Cadillac Elvis was driving & he tossed him the keys & said "Its yours now" He wasnt loved & adored by so many for nothing

  • @hunkallgood73 yeah thanks for the history lesson bruv , too bad his music is still boring as fuck eh :)

  • @Zack10063 Thats your opinion which you're entitled to.Its a good thing the majority of the world would disagree with you.Elvis is not called the 'KING' for nothing. He paved the way & was a pioneer in the business that P.E came to be apart of.If they cant show anymore respect than calling him simple & plain & racist then they dont appreciate those who came before them & opened the door for other acts.BTW Chuck D & Flavor Flav & griff are still alive but their careers are looooong dead.

  • @hunkallgood73 they released a new album only about a year ago and are the best selling hip hop group o all time so no their careers are hardly dead and lol to my generation elvis is a joke , he was a fat bastard lol

  • @Zack10063 Let me try to absorb this for a sec.....Are you REALLY trying to compare the careers of PE & Elvis?????? all I'll say is dont forget to take your meds tonight sonny boy.Tata

  • @hunkallgood73 i like elvis.. but he didnt pave the way, other people paved the way for elvis

  • @cutiefrogskermit That may be true but nobody can argue that Elvis wasnt a major trend setter & ground breaker. He has influenced millions of ppl throughout the world. Not just with his talent but also with his selfless nature & his willingness to always help those in need. The reason Elvis was even brought up here is because someone took the liberty of quoting Chuck Ds misrepresentation of Presley as a racist which was hardly the case.Someone smart as Chuck should have done his research on the man

  • @hunkallgood73 i watched an interview were chuck D explained his lyrics and he wasn't saying elvis was a racist he was talking about how elvis took the black mans music and became famous of it whilst never once mentioning where his music comes from and all the stupid racist fucks at the time loved him and treated him like a hero but if elvis was black he would never have reached that level of fame

  • @Zack10063 1 word ILLUMINATI look it up not trying to be rude just saying

  • @ANTWONSERLES no offence but i really don't care about american conspiracy theories

  • @hunkallgood73 also i'm 18 i wouldn't be caught dead listening to elvis , he just isn't cool anymore face it

  • Help oppose the Protect IP bill! This could be the end of the internet if this bill passes. FIGHT THE POWER!!

  • people this isnt rap its hip hop

  • I guess it's all relative. In 20 years time, people will be saying the same thing about today's music being better than what is playing in 2031.

  • @Hawera1000

Heaven help those listening in 2031 then! :-)

  • @bodsnvimto I will be 59 then, I wonder what medium music will be available in. It started as records, then went to cassette tapes, then CDs and now downloads. How do you think people will be buying music in 20 years time?

  • to find stuff like PE nowadays ya gotta go underground screw lil wayne and jon and all dem IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, LOWKEY, CYNE etc is where its at

  • OCCUPY!

  • I don't want to lump all new rap into the bad category, but I hear some of the sht we have today and wonder why we don't have more songs like this

  • this song is bullshit! js

  • THE TIME IS UPON US FOR THE PEOPLE...

  • OWS!

  • @RealHipHopForLife1 he was good back in the day

  • replace the word where it says John Wayne with lil wayne

  • is that depiction of planet x on the album cover ?

  • do the right thing- spike lees best joint

  • The album was my first purchase when i was about 13 years old, i always loved the cassette even i did not speak english at this time, i loved the energy on this record...that was in 1992 or so, and in the shop (it was in a small village supermarket), they sold this one, Technotronic, David Hasselhof and maaybe Madonna or so. I only had money for one cassette and i chose this one, had no idea about the group. Since then, i have a sense for justice and freedom, anyway, thanx a lot Public Enemy !

  • R.I.P Radio Raheem

  • @NightfenceProduction let me tell you the story of right hand and left hand. it's the tale of good and evil. Hate- it was with this hand that Cain iced his brother. Love- these 5 fingers go straight to the heart of man. The right hand- the hand of love. the story if life is this: static. One hand is always fighting the other hand.

  • @NHLman27 Except when it's having a wank

  • @tolstoy1234 even then- they fight over who gets to do it. ;)

  • @NHLman27 night of the hunter starring robert mitchum and shelley winters

  • What a fucking great song.

  • Good sound quality. Thx

  • Anarchism forever.

  • the message.....in full affect

  • i remember throwing a book at the tv when hammer's "please hammer don't hurt em" beat out "Fear Of A Black Planet" for best rap album on the vma's in 1990. after that i didn't mess with award shows because it really is a popularity contest if you think about it. no fucking way was hammer's PHDHE better then PE's FOABP.

  • @BoneThugsEternal in 1997 p.diddy's victory beat wu tang forever...its all shit

  • @OgGrovestreet

Thomas "TNT" Todd, civil rights attorney and activist. I had to look that up. At first I thought it was MLK as he gave some fiery speeches back in the day.

  • That's the true track from the golden age of rap! Now this is what I call the absolute TRUE anthem of the black youth from back in the day!!!!!

  • This Shit Here Makes Lil Wayne Unknown !

  • wish I could get the speakers to go louder. ULTIMATE POLITICAL ANTHEM!!

  • d's muthaf***a d's!!!!

  • How did rap go from this, to the crap that it is today?

  • @SavageRush012 ive heard alot of people saying that, but i dont see it!!! explain

  • @SavageRush012 Its a dang shame yo....May Allah save those in need from th grasp of evil

  • @SavageRush012 Money...

  • @SavageRush012 white people

  • @caramount Fair enough, we'll apologise for Eminem and Vanilla Ice if you apologise for Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy. Deal?

  • @jimb92 why apologise for Eminem? he was a good rapper until he started doing shit with Wayne etc.

  • @SavageRush012 Rappers today only think about the money and hot girls

  • @oddlyoko2000 YOU NAILED THAT

  • @SavageRush012 Google it. See even in the internet such things happen.

  • @SavageRush012 We feel the same about metal... Seems like nobody knows how to do it right anymore.

  • @SavageRush012 Lil' Wayne? ? ?

  • @9isra4 Lil' Wayne is just one man, the only rapper worth listening to, and he gets boring to me after a while. Most of Lil' Wayne's fans are either horny girls, or just pole-jockers...no offense.

  • @SavageRush012 NOT a wayne fan, man

  • @SavageRush012 Look harder. There is plenty of good rap out there.

  • @ShadowCrashed81 Yeah, but they're not mainstream. They're mostly underground. You don't hear about them like how you hear about Wayne, and the like.

  • @SavageRush012 That is beside the point. You said "the crap that is today" and i told you there is good rap.

  • @ShadowCrashed81 And my point was that it is hard to find the good rap.

  • @SavageRush012 No it isn't. You just need to know where to look.

  • @SavageRush012 Soulja Boy would be one of the answers

  • @elhaotico No he wouldn't...

  • @SavageRush012 Neah... i mean he is the crap that you can hear today. That's what i wanted to say

  • @elhaotico You have exceeded the crack levels you must be on meth.

  • @SavageRush012 there is still good rap being made, it's just not popular, and they don't play it on radio...

  • brutha's an' sistah's !!!

  • now that's a true anthem rap song. FIGHT THE POWER!!!!

  • @bigblackdaddyblue you got that right!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • stop the blu-rays.

  • somewhere radio Raheem is bumpin this

  • Even some metalheads listened to this stuff back in the day (myself included) hardcore rap as i used to call it ...

  • @reneciux the best and only type of rap thats actually rap

  • this song made me research elvis and racism. he might not have been a racist....

  • fuck race fuck religion fuck the past...... LOVE MUSIC

  • public enemy= decedents of the black panthers but spoken with rhymes and heard through a great beat. that name fear of a black planet one of the greatest names for an album ever

  • old rap is better than new rap

  • @dowfan99 by the time the 90s ended lol.

  • Who else came here because of the House meme? :)

  • FIGHT THE POWER

  • Fear of a black planet? Look how they ran their own continent. ....See?!!! Censor this garbage.

  • censoring swears does not equal fighting the power.

  • when i hear this song I immediately think of spike lee's "do the right thing"

  • (|(())|)

  • aight, i like rap/hip hop, but if i said im white and im proud, just like public enemy says im black and im proud, peopled be tryin to jump me. thats fucked up.

  • @ripwalter34 You're missing the point. When you're black, you walk outside to the stereotype that you're violent, uneducated and lazy. When you're white, you walk outside to the stereotype that you're employed, probably educated with no criminal record. It takes nothing to be proud of being white. There's zero courage in it. But standing against the prejudice of being black and asserting that your proud of your heritage? There's courage in that.

  • @Imperativism it takes nothing? i cant take pride in that majority of my race is employed and educated?

  • @Imperativism and also, i guess todays blacks are just too occupied, being all "proud and black" and what not, to see that they are very racist to todays whites. and what can blacks be proud of nowadays? that only like half of their race graduates highschool? or that most of them barely know how to speak english? they can say that the white man is holding them back now. theyre given all the same opportunities as whites, so now it looks like theyre holding themselves back.are u proud of that too?

  • @ripwalter34 i wouldnt be. just like im not proud of how my ancestors treated blacks and native americans.

  • @ripwalter34 What a typical shit 4 brains baldhead comment, Are you educated in history? because the whole situation is much much more complex than you try make it out to be, Blacks/Browns and some Whites know whats up I hear it in alot of REAL HipHop, but as per usual heres the lost white guy thinking he knows it all when in actual fact what hes saying has NO substance & he dont know shit, why dont you use Google to research wht your talking about before making such immature unfounded comments.

  • @ripwalter34 And dear lord they have TONS to be proud of you absolute idiot!! how about this for just ONE, they went from being slaves to being the Fukn PRESIDENT!! You dummy!! use your fukn head!!

  • @KiwiBro26 actually, no a black man is not president, a mixed man is. but yes, im not saying they cant be proud of the fact that they have come far from being slaves to now having the same opportunities as everyone else. i would be proud of that too. but when they say they are black and proud, theyre also speaking for being proud of their race today, which for the most part is a shame. bc MOST of them waste the opportunities that have been given to them by their ancestor's hard work.

  • @ripwalter34 shame on u, they fought HARD for freedom and changed the WORLD but the wealth wasnt distributed accordingly nor the power, they have systematically been put into the position their in and only because of their resilience, courage, strength, determintion, intelligence and talent have they been able to overcome alot of obstacles put in place by a system run by men with greedy racist evil intentions, read a book about post-colonisation or post slavery and stop being a ignorant asshole.

  • @KiwiBro26 yeah you have showed me you are a dumbass. dont try to have a real argument with me, you obviously arent intelligent enough. bc you obviously have read all of my statements either. or maybe you cant comprehend them? idk. and idc. fuck off.

  • @ripwalter34 LFMAO Bahahahahahahahaha!!! You FAIL !!!

  • @ripwalter34

Look up Black Wall Street in the 1900's

  • @ripwalter34 well last time i checked the white man aint never been through nothn they been holdin us down
