  • i was at art school around the time this was out-everyone loved this. to be honest all their singles between 'Land of make believe' & 'rules of' the game' were extraordinary at the time-the production sounded so modern-and all the weird effects on the vocals-amazing.

  • boo ;-0 lol xx

  • Gong!!!

  • W latach 80-tych nie trzeba bylo sie rozbierać na scenie aby atrakcyjnie wygladać

  • jay is so bloody cool!!! especially at 0:44

  • I search it long time.

  • @the235count I know they visited Brazil in February 1983 to do some TV promotion... maybe you can get that/those performances! ;)

  • Unfortunately this band was never succesful in Brazil, however there's someone, me, that loves it so much. I really like BFss

  • the guys are so cool , the chicks so hot . shit . and they sing so well .... poo iv only got the looks :-)

  • Amazing video. Any idea who choreographed it and where it was shot?

  • @funkybird4 It was filmed at Holloway Sanitorium. I'll have to check the credits on my Greatest Hits video, but a lot of their very visual ones were directed by D. Trattman, so I'd hazard a guess they were behind this one too. When I get a minute, I'll check for you. When it was reviewed on Saturday Superstore, Mike Read commented it must have taken them longer to make the video than to record the song lol! Shame it only made no 34, love the extended version.

  • jay was so ahead of her time!

  • Whaa! Literally haven't heard this since 1983. Thank you very much:-)

  • great great! greetings from Argentina!

  • Brilliant, thanks for the upload.

  • It was "one of those nights". Still it is my fave BF single along with My Camera Never Lies. The offbeat was deliberate and a genius touch if you ask me. Way ahead of their time. Maybe that's what the public couldn't get.

Origonal members numbered four not five. Shelley only replaced Jay.

  • Possibly my favourite FIZZ single alongside When We Were Young. Loving Jay's mad hair!!!!!

  • love it

  • Bucks Fizz- picked up where ABBA Left off!!! great tunes!!! i have 'em all on lp!!

  • Thank you so much for that lovely video!

Last time I heard this song on radio in 1985 ... I was 10 y.o. and this was my favorite song.

  • Mike Nlan looks so hot in this video, as a young person i had a crush on him and quite fancied him.

  • Back then I used to think Mike was so hot, but of course I knew he'd never look at an ordinary-looking guy like me. Still, I moved to London anyway...

  • Wow I grew up on songs like these. I forgotten about it until I woke up this morning and the song came into my head lol! So I had to YouTube it.

  • What I want to know is... WTF is that strange cackling in the background about 6 seconds into the song?

It's not just part of the video, it's on the original song as well, and it's too distinct to have been left there by accident. I don't get it at all :-/

  • Still hot

  • A lot of Bucks Fizz's music was pretty funky actually. This has a really energetic feel to it.

  • I love this song so very heart pounding

  • I hated this when it came out, but now I listen to hear it, and it kinda makes me think it may have had an influence on Dieter Bohlen...or is it just me?

  • LOVE THE SONG

  • I hope OBF could sing this some time - especially if Bobby joined them for a one off concert

  • mike nolan was so fit

  • Not wanting to admit ,it but your right Mike Nolan is very hot!!

  • This is such a flipping ace song!

am i the only one who thinks Mike Nolan is a little bit hot??......lol

  • Haha! I watched a programme on Living last night with Bucks Fizz & i thought the same as you! Mind you when i was little, Mike was the one i fancied.

  • haha ^_^ he's a bit of a cutie aint he!

  • @Siobhandoodles Definitely! lol

  • This was one of my fav. Bucks Fizz songs - still can't believe it never made the Top 20... LOVE the Video - fist time I've ever seen it! Thanks!

  • just love the girls 'cracking up' at 3:08!...so natural!

  • same here!

  • Thats just what i was thinking EuroAlien! Maybe there should be a campaign set up to make this possible - with all five original members on stage singing it!!

  • This song should be used for the 2012 olympics! - does anyone else think so?

  • What...at the opening ceremony? Definitely!!!!

  • the singing is a bit toooo offbeat

  • Yeah, apparently Bobby G wasn't too happy with the way his voice sounded on this either.

  • It is my favourite song of theirs! It only peaked at 34 back in October 1983. What a shame! Great song!

  • @wczorajdzonson24 They ought to re release it - in time for the 2010 olympics!

  • @SarahKW71 i mean the 2012 olympics !

  • "London Town" was rlsd in September 1983.

  • wot year was this rlsd?

  • That's great video!
