Good video, shows how well HID's can work in the snow. I am trying to decide what color to go with. I like the white, but I've heard the 5k might be too bright at 3200 lumens whereas the 6k are 2800 so it might be more tolerable to other drivers.

i got a question, i have halo headlights on my truck, when i bought them from ebay it came with 1 H1 bulb on each one.so then i bought some 5000k h1 bulb and installed on the headlight but it does not look white it pretty much look the same as the stock ones. do i need a HID kit to make them white? or it should turn white with out the hid kit? thank you
@sjjdiienno1 Most of luxury cars come with 4300k HID. The more you go up, the less light lumen HID produce. For example, 10k or 12k doesn't give any more than a halogen bulbs, except "cool color". The most you want to go is 6k. Believe me, any higher Kelvin temp than 6k, you are losing your visibility. HID is for improving your visibility, not reducing it.
@sjjdiienno1 go with a DDM Tuning kit, make sure you know what style bulbs your car takes, I highly recommend upgrading headlight assemblies to a projector style instead of reflect or you will lose much of the benefit of HID/xenon lighting. DDM offers a few kits, their 55 watt kit with 5000k bulbs is the brightest you can possibly go, the light will be diamond white with very little to no colour at all, just crystal clear light.
