  • Ironic how americans are the fattest in the world is it not???

  • Freedom. American's should buy foreign goods because of Freedom. Just say the word Freedom and people shut off their brains in this country. That's the most over simplistic argument I've heard in my life.

  • @ultramutt can you explain how to respect property rights and yet stop me from hiring who I want, trade with who I want, regardlss of dotted lines govt draws on maps, or some tyrannical violent law to keep from doing what I want with my property? No, it's impossible. Plus, can you show how any trade makes the traders less wealthy? Every trade is making both traders more wealthy, or they wouldn't trade! Are we really to believe in govt non-sense like "trade deficits"? Bastiat debunk=19th century.

  • none of the american products he mentions were american inventions.

  • "America is free".On my own,We should be free.We WILL buy any products from any country!.Most of the American products are not good, they dont work hard on that.I am agree that Apple devices made in America but they write down on the back,"Made in China".I live in America and i will buy things from foreign if i like it.Stop me!

  • If you buy American "Brands" you only support Greedy CEO's, not the hard working american economy!

  • The most bizarre, irrational and crackpot Americans gravitate towards Libertarianism. Did you ever ask yourself why ? IT HAS NO CONSISTENCY, NO STANDARDS AND NO LOGIC.

  • A Chinese woman traveling to America to buy "software"? You've got to be kidding.

  • @tphillip66

Why not, did you know lot of software use English as interface language is more robust than those localized into complex character counterpart?

  • @MrBS4 I'm aware of this but do you travel to America to "buy software"? I can see buying software if it is something very specialized, etc, but I've lived with three Taiwanese students and they stated quite matter of factly that they would never pay for software.

  • american enough

  • Union members are not the most productive workers.

  • @geico1212 its for symbolism idiot.

  • @BackStabber300 thats not the problem. the problem is that our exports far exeeds our imports.

  • @paulinotou u got it wrong....we bring in more stuff from China than they get from us. Just because we get a bunch of products that are made and assembled in other countries in the Ipod, we get more things from China than any other country.

  • Obviously someone was absent during critical phases of economics class in HS or college. As for this 30-year retired veteran, I'll stick with what works for me--foreign and domestic. Save that pseudo-patriotic drivel for labor union elections...hopefully soon to be a thing of the past.

  • @BackStabber300

No, we want to buy in america, because it keeps money in america, and keeps our jobs.

No, its not selfish, its the facts.

  • okay i love my country just like any other proud american im 18 and view the usa as the greatest country in the world but honestly when dealing with cars my mom had ford windstar and it was piece of junk and she bought a brand new honda crv and it 10 times better than the windstar alot of the foreign vehicles are better quality wise so maybe the domestic manufacturer will step there game up and start make better cars

  • Designed in America, Assembled in China.

  • Dont support slave labor, or liers,. Look at where the product comes from, Whats that countrys beliefs for the most part on trade, wages, environment; religion ect Then make a decision. Its not that hard to find out on line. Punch in slave labor countries ect. Most but not all companies want to save a buck at any means, and just turn a blind eye at how it's produced. At least in America we have better moral ways of making products. We all cant be paper pushers can we. Dont be fooled Change It.

  • @BackStabber300 the reason people want things made in america china is cheap crap and the money goes to china if things were made in america it would bring our econemy up you toyota buying basterd

  • make prostitution and illegal drugs legal here make money

  • Dont support slave labor, or liers,. Look at where the product comes from, Whats that countrys beliefs for the most part on trade, wages, environment; religion ect Then make a decision. Its not that hard to find out on line. Punch in slave labor countries ect. Most but not all companies want to save a buck at any means, and just turn a blind eye at how it's produced. • Good for you.USA Companys. I em very happy that you keep your company In The USA. And support your fellow American workers making American products. With fairer wages safety standers ect... I buy and promote American products whenever possible at stores and on line at - American Made- allthough it"s hard to find many American products it's worth it. We must let companies and stores know you must give us that choice. This is our country that our for fathers fought hard for. Thanks again.

  • @bestwayusa1

Yeah right, god damn union pig. Collecting premium wage but pumping out garbage on hourly bases. Oh, and btw, union are commie, you hate commie that much then you should anti union first, take your side.

  • Americans are just a bunch of retarded, racist, over patriotic fucks

  • THE ONLY THING MADE IN THE USA IS PEOPLE.

  • @ITHINKFREE85 make prostitution legal

  • well if u buy a chevy in a couple of years that chevy will be worth SHIT but if u get a japanese car like honda ur car will be more valuable then the chevy

  • Oh no not foreign products! Tbh you have double standards if you're telling Americans to buy American but you want to export your products to other countries; people should buy the best products no matter where they're from. Its not patriotic its small minded and borderline racist trying to turn your back on more world unity in favour of making your own section of the world more powerful. Primative small minded stuff that lacks future vision and a view of the bigger picture.

  • if them ladies fuk with my lexus ill rape the shit out of them

  • @BackStabber300 With all respect, buying 100% American isn't the goal. Keeping enough jobs in America so we can continue being capable of sustaining our current way of life is the goal. To not give a "fuc*" where its made is kind of ignorant if your an American. If you enjoy your way of life, the you should give a fuc* because I promise it won't last much longer at the rate America is consuming foreign goods. Clearly you do not understand economics or appreciate what you have and WHY you have it

  • as long as a company employs Americans Even if all the parts are not made in America I guess I'm ok with tht

  • More Libertarian Plutocracy. Talk about trying to brainwash people so that they will spend more money to pad your big corporate pockets at the expense of the American family.

  • @MaydinTheUsa

    So what's the alternative?

  • If we shut your docks down and stop importing crap from china we can have more jobs.

we gotta limit their crap. they throw off "suppy & demand " with too much supply making their shit cheeper.

we gotta make small companies that manufacture crap products to offset the chinese's supply with small lil companies, JUST GET OUT THERE AND MANUFACTURE SHITTY PRODUCTS with small companies using light employment.

-you ultimate goal is to offset china supply.- using the above rules

  • If I don't buy american how am I uneducated? I'll buy whatever the fuck I want from where ever the fuck itncomesnfrom...except harddrives from china....THEY SUCK BALLS. I went through 6 and each represents loss, frustration, and a rip off.

  • umm THEY hired the women lol so it's hardly impressive that they 'learned' anything new.

  • Comment removed

  • Buy American pot!

  • You need both, you need to export and import

  • Now that's just stupid!

    "Buy American"?

Who came up with that shit?

  • Out of the millions of products that exist in america, they focused on ipods more than they did on oil, plastic, and other stuff. This just shows that apple is taking over the world, lol jk

  • if that union douche wants to see uneducated, he should look in the mirror. let's all go back to smoot-hawley tariff act passed in '29. We all know how well that worked (i'll give you a hint, if you were a steel worker it was great because you were protected from competition but if you made a good that got exported you were boned). No economist to this day argues that Smoot-Hawley wasn't detrimental to our economy yet we have know-nothings who want to go back.

  • I'll buy whatever the he'll I want I don't want to ruin other coutries export.

  • Damn tht b1tch had a deep voice!!

  • There are people starving/dying on your streets, yet you walk past them everyday, and what do you do?

buy iPods and smash them. what the fuck.

  • @BackStabber300 Your name is fitting, you're a backstabber to your own countrymen if that's your attitude. People are not islands onto themselves, we must take note of the unethical or damaging effects of trade with countries like China. You should care if your product was made in a sweat shop, if people were exploited so you can have a new gadget, if jobs are lost by the thousands for the whims of people like you. To see things anyway else is inhuman and the idiocy of an inarticulate cretin.

  • Who cares if foreigners make some of our stuff.

Most of my stuff is made outside of my state (Illinois) but that doesn't hurt Illinois' economy.

  • @whitesox889 America has hardly been a union of sovereign states since the conclusion of the War of Northern Aggression. We are virtually a singular republic with no real definable distinction between states, what benefits Montana benefits Illinois and likewise. If we produce in China, that makes your countrymen poorer no matter what state they're in and that effects your state.

  • @josiegallows ??? Your post didn't make any sense. International trade has the same principles as national trade. It increases efficiency. For example, it makes more sense for Illinois people to grow corn and trade it to Florida people for oranges, rather than grow our own oranges. It also makes sense for Illinois people to grow corn and trade it to Columbians for bananas, rather than grow our own bananas. Free trade makes people of both countries richer by increased efficiency.

  • @whitesox889 Hahaha a rare commenter that actually KNOWS economics. Quite hard to find your kind here. Especially with all the liberal and protectionist fags who haven't read a single history book on what Tariffs have done to our country in terms of economic damage.

  • @josiegallows "We are virtually a singular republic with no real definable distinction between states" I BEG to differ. Economies in each state varies. Especially with certain areas that are inflated or deflated. California laws are probably some of the toughest in the entire country. As well as far stricter emission standards to. While in other states it might be easier.

  • Buy from american companies then. that way no matter where its made the profits and tax money stays Here.

  • @BackStabber300 hopefully your job gets off shored and then you will say buy american

  • It's just an iPod. Get over it!

  • Just like "buying and American car" (thats actually made in Mexico)

  • @Spockkker Sooooo??? The last time I saw the map of the world Mexico was part of America which is North America and South America. You are contradicting yourself with your words. >_> America ≠ The United States. America is not a country, America is 2 continents aka the New World as the ancients referred to and by ancients i mean the people who lived in the old world & new world from 1492 to present day.

  • the rest of the world

    BOYCOTT AMERICA!

  • The only thing America is doing is makeing other countrys ritch and keeping there government and wallstreet ritch that's all america is. A money pit for other countrys

  • Americans are fucking lazy and the don't work hard.

  • I hate hate hate the usa and most of the world agree with me iven though i live in the usa

  • @wisse001 then get out of this country no one tells you stay here

  • Dude at 9:15-"uneducated" people? Well I will let you in on why I bought a foreign car instead of "American".My last car-a Chevrolet, American as apple pie-right? I was checking my tire pressure guide on the sticker and the car was made in Korea! I also don't have time for organized labour and their sticking it to their own members in the interest of more, more , and more money. The US auto industry has outsourced themselves by unions who are fatcats who could care less about the workers.

  • So what if the Ipod is made in foreign countries? The reason why it is foreign made is that globalization is taking place. The economies of nations all over the world are merging into one massive, global economy. It's just a fact of life. Most American consumers do not want to pay more money than they have to. That's the reason why foreign products are so popular in the United States. American workers need to get advanced educations, not campaign for protectionism.

  • @mikekazik1 -

good point! That is why Americans shop at Wal-Mart more than anywhere else because it is "more for less"money. Most items, besides food, have Made in China on them. Plus what kid wants a wood carved horse or wagon for their birthday-they want video games, dolls, and electronics from other countries.

  • @gravelandgrain100 All of those items can and should be made in America. It wouldn't jack rices up if the business owners were content to have just one private jet instead of five. They could suffer the losses of paying their workers American wages and selling at Chinese prices, you can bet on that. We're talking millionaires and billionaires who just don't want to pay people more than 25 cents an hour.

  • @mikekazik1 Those items wouldn't cost more to be produced in America if the corporate executives were content on just one private jet instead of five. They insist on paying a workforce 25 cents an hour! They could easily sacrifice some profit margins, pay American workers a living wage and still come out on top but they won't because we're not stopping them from outsourcing for the sake of greed, greed and more greed.

  • you still bought the ipods so those countries are getting money regardless if you smash them or not

  • Ofcourse, if the other countries also followed the same logic, america would be in trouble. Infact, it was better life-style which made millions leave their home to come to america, which in turn means that it is populated by "unpatriotic" families.

What they should do is promote trade of goods, not only monetary trading, and stop wanting to stomp out the rest of the world products.

  • @RohanOrhanHaron The fear is that more foreign goods exist in America than American goods. What we believe is that the majority of products Americans consume should be American made. Even if we limit our trade to achieve this goal, other nations still come out on top thanks to agreeable trade (except China, who we should embargo).

  • @josiegallows

That was how China fall over 300 years ago. You isolate yourself form the rest of the world, you stagnate, and you are dead.

  • Sorry, don't have 9+ minutes to watch this.

  • I like the so called "patriot" saying: "that free trade stuff is a bunch of crap"

assholes like him are what's killing America

  • Yea but america gets the money, they get all the profits, soooo what is this video on about, although i do agree that buying china is piece of shit, i hate made in china, i would rather buy made in USA anyday

  • Buy oe Breakis not an option. u will have to buy it first to break it. (and also a hammer if you do not have one ! I am sure using freely available stones is not 'American'). This reporter's brain must be 100% american.

  • All China eed is a hug :D

  • my cousin goes to George Mason!

  • lol

  • But, Americans make the money! Ah forget it, you're all so dumb...

  • Funny video, i faved it cuz of the girls

  • lol

  • why buy american, when other products are equal or even better. Why should companies survive if they can't produce quality for a good price. Thats why a lot of companies produce in China, because production is simply to expensive in America. America should get away from thinking that producing in your own country creates jobs. The real problem is the education of the americans and the other western countries. The government should stop helping american companies and put that money in education

  • my name is ramadan i am an american even though my name is not steve i am doing my masters so i am not ignorant but i can tell u that buying american is the best thing to do if it is manafatured 60% IN AMERICA IS BETTER THAN 10% the problem is people with many is not patriotic anymore factories hire the most labor and labor spend money in stores and small buisnesses so it helps every body to buy american

  • Help Revive the US economy by buying American Products only this year! The government can not do it alone. We need to rally behind our US manufactures like we rally behind our sport teams!!!

  • BUY AMERICAN! you support your company and you get the best most long lasting and reliable products! if you dont then maybe you should get the f*ck out of North America.

  • @anthonyledo did you even fucking watch the video?

Product qualty isn't determined by origin. It's determined by the company making the product and what procedures and standards they have while producing it.

  • @EpiDemic117

shut up. you koolaid drinker. america just so happens to use the highest quality material and make things most heavy duty. you anti american. support your country, buy american and create american jobs. when the japanese undeservingly took over our market with their inferior cars, big three lost femand and layed off 130,000 american. japs on created 27,000 american jobs. our jobs are going over seas. you are responsible for putting your neighbours out of work if you buy foreign.

  • @anthonyledo

    *demand

also just so happens 100% of toyota's in america are japanese made. 50% of those are only "assembled by a very small ammount of americans. this video is bullshit.

free trade is not protecting our goods. it is destroying our economy. remeber how britain protected themselves in the 1400's, everyone with free trade went poor. you are blind.

  • @anthonyledo

at one time big three employed 390,000 americans directly. many more indirectly. 1 in 10 jobs in america is related to the auto industry.

toyota employ directly a pitiful amount of americans. 20,000 directly, and another 10,000 as temporary workers. these are non union jobs. they are lowering our wages in america.

big three each now sell less cars than toyota, but still each employ 3 times the amount of americans.

educate your self next time please.

  • @anthonyledo "america just so happens to use the highest quality material and make things most heavy duty." I agree with some of that

" buy american and create american jobs. when the japanese undeserving took over our market with their inferior cars, big three lost femand and layed off 130,000 american." Wrong and still wrong, you don't know how the economy works. My guess is that you need a little bit of education. The big three lost simply because of their corporate structure.

  • @anthonyledo "our jobs are going over seas" Then maybe if your ass wasn't so lazy and actually tried to keep yours. You might of stood a chance in the long run. According to your bullshit logic that is. But no that isn't how it works. Did you hear that most Toyotas are more American than Chevys are? they just explained in this vid that the parts content is more than 80% on most toyotas. Why is it that GM relys on a korean manufacturer so they can sell products here? MY point exactly

  • @EpiDemic117

thats where you get lost. toyota's are not more american!

explain why they sell us more cars than anyone of the big three, but each one of the big three have 3 times the american workers?

are you trying to tell me the americans at toyota are over 3 times more efficient? because they are not. exlain this...

i will send you a study. in this study you can see how toyota sends the parts already made to america.

  • @anthonyledo " but each one of the big three have 3 times the american workers?" They better have more workers. Otherwise that would be just sad. But even so. It is your job as the consumer to seek out the best quality product that fits your needs. Not the whole "buy american (domestic) cars" regime bullshit. toyotas and Hondas are just as American as anyother car out in this market. GM owns a big steak in china now with their new plant to produce buicks.

  • @EpiDemic117

just read the study. anyone else who want it personal message me.

  • @anthonyledo and what your idea is. Is for us to close our borders to stop imports. Well if that happened over night. Our country and other countries would most likely go bankrupt. Because your idea is to put a huge gouge in the system. Importing and exporting is good. It maximizes efficiency and helps reach demand across the globe. you make it seem as if every time you buy an import product. This country looses money, when in fact. It goes in circulation.

  • @anthonyledo There are plenty of companies in North America that export goods such as software, industrial machinery, and other products. The money is then received in the companies bank account then later spent on something else. Such as a specific part that can only be bought from europe.

  • @EpiDemic117

i said read the study. it will tell you just how much we export, and how much we import. you will dee it is more so just one way. please read it.

import/export is fine, but we need to protect ourselves better.

  • @anthonyledo " we need to protect ourselves better." I agree with that statement. But in order for things to work. People need to care. Care and quality is almost everything. But what obama and his democratic buddies seem to not understand is that they need to let the companies work things out instead of them trying to take over everything. Companies are basically what makes the world a better place to live in since there is competition. however companies also need to take responsibility.

  • @EpiDemic117

the imports are subsidized by the japanese government. they have been bailing those japanese companies out since their birth. they have been bailed out for over 50 years. and we can not afford to do our american companies this favour once?

quality is everything, and we have it. ours is not falsely percieved like that of the japanese manufactures. most people are finally starting to realize this now.

  • @anthonyledo

if the american companies competed with the japanese companies instead of eachother i would expect the same garbage. thank god they do things differently.

yes obama has made mistakes like giving the money to the banks. but he made a good decision to support our american companies.

  • @anthonyledo Obama is also suporting the idea behind socialism. Which I'm highly against. And the health care refom. That is just.... Highly un "American" and not capitalist. I AM and American And I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!

  • @EpiDemic117 do you know what socialism is?

  • @brutalxscreams a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

  • Some people should pay more attention in economics. If you don't know how and why international trade is good for the global economy... then get a f* proper education.

  • Cool, I'm watching this on my iPod right now!!

  • dont turn into fascists now or youll find out what worldwide invasion tastes like. seriously, youre gonna unite the entire planet against you. life on earth i not a team sport. fight your flag, take unpatriotic pride as americans. youre individuals on a landmass, who were born into corporate nationalist imagary and propaganda, the likes of which has never existed before, not even russia is THAT nationalist

  • so every other country will invade us just because some people want to turn protectionist in hard economic times? get real. every country has people who feel like this especially now. Even yours. And no one's gonna invade the U.S. Do you know what mutually assured destruction is? By the way I don't care about "buy american" because nothing is fully american anymore except maybe some military weapons but everything is now global anyway so protectionism is pointless.

  • I cant believe the amount of nationalist propaganda you guys get fed everyday. from planet earth it looks like youre actually all kinda trapped in a covert totalitarian agenda, where if youre not seen to be chewing on your corporate logo of a flag, then youre an outcast.

  • The guy who said that people should rather have an American car like Chevy rather then a Volvo is dumb, He compared Volvo to Chevy by saying that Volvo is a foreign car but Volvo is own by the best American auto maker Ford. So that makes Volvo an American car, Some people are just so stupid!!!!!

  • What is America's problem, who gives a crap where it's made, hell i don't care if it's made in china

  • Can we, Japanese, make Camaro? to make it fair. Japan have car factories in Japan, why not GM build factory in Japan.

  • @tokyocityrat

Japan is very protective of their own industry and are very strict on other countiries producing their products in Japan in addition to tarrifs on imported products.

Japans new Cash for Clunkers excludes American cars.

  • @Allante715

Today, news said Japan will start accept American "green cars". Actually American did not have fuel efficient cars. And you got to know gasoline is like 1.2$ per liter (not gallon)...it is approximately 4 times more than US. Nodoby want US made cars because of fuel efficincy and body size. American have to admit that they only made American standard cars which are not suitable to other countries. Simple example...we drive left side & need right side handle. No US car with it.

  • Like anyone doesn't already know all this. One day it'll all be under one umbrella corporation, hopefully American, called GIGA CORP. lol . . . I love that word . . GIGA . . whats up my giga?

  • First of all Ford sold Volvo back to Sweden so it is foreign owned again. Second of all, most of those underpaid and underbenefited Toyota "American" workers have lowered the wage standard for the middle class American worker. The profits still go overseas. To say that some woman from China comes over here and spends all of her money is overgeneralization and ridiculous since most of China's workers can barely afford to eat.

  • Great Video! I agree with the author, you can't just limit people's freedom to make them buy only american made stuff. If everything was made in American, then we would have no less than $500 shoes, 60k cars and 5k dollar computers only. Ant let's not talk about the food industry.

And who could afford that? If that were to happen, then people would buy tiny amounts of them, resulting the shutdown of the businesses. Anyway, some jobs are lost, but some of them are being created. Free tady FTW!

  • As long as an american employer has a former employer drawing unemployment, they should not hire anyone who is not a citizen to take their place. Don't even go there with the BS that Americans are lazy. I've seen some lazy foreigners who are filling the jobs which were stolen from americans.

  • reopen all the manufacturing plants, buy more USA made products, put american farmers, small fishermen and businesses back to work. In no time, the american people's taxes would pay off the deficit. Put the federal reserve back into the hands of the US Treasury and out of the hands of the mongers. In no time, the economy would be rockin'.

  • Parts is one thing, profit on the finished product is another. That's a pretty small percentage of the American population, though. Read infinitesimal. You decide if paying salaries abroad and only the ones who 'like money' reaping the profit is patriotic. Nothing to do with communism. Get wise and create work for Americans instead, if you want to keep the wealth spread across and within the nation. Asian economists must think American ones are saps :)

  • american cars sucks though...

  • @narutard123123 American cars rock have you heard of a corvette

  • Ok, lets make one thing straight. You do have bikini girls in America but they don't look like the one on the picture. Because of the other ultra-american thing - hamburger.

  • I prefer MP3 players over the ipod.

All electronics are made overseas these days.

There is not choice to buy American made electronics.

  • I bought a made in China "designed in california" mountain bike, and the damn thing cost me more in repairs than what the bike is worth.

My next Mountain bike will be a American made Ellsworth. Sure, it's gonna set me back around $4000, but it will last the rest of my life!

I'm a nurse and I bought cheap imported scrubs, and guess what? the pockets ripped. Now, I pay the extra buck and buy american made scrubs, because they are not built cheap and will last me for years.

  • this guy isn't all right, most jeeps are 80 or more percent american and assembling a car in america doesn't make it american, you buy japanese all your money goes to japan, out of OUR economy! wake up brainwashed people!

  • now lets take sledge hammers to toyotas and hondas!

  • If a consumer wants to "buy America", then buy away.

However, to pass laws that limit freedoms on producers/consumers is very "unAmerican".

    Great vid RTV :)

  • Xenophobes.

  • There's alot of Super-Patriotism in this video....ugh.

  • I like how the guy who said that supporters of free trade are "uneducated" was also the one who referred to overseas manufacturing as "unpatriot." Ass.

  • Ipods do not bring happiness in life. I'm a libertarian but not for love of materlism

  • In this vid, if iPOD were built in the US and wears the made in USA as per the FTC requirements to wear that label, WAY MORE than 14,000 ppl will be employed! That is a fallacy I see in this vid.

More Americans working & being paid decently = more consumers to repair our crap economy.

  • Chevrolet does and still makes some superior production vehicles. Lets face i, Chevy pick-ups are still the best pickups of all. Toyota tundra, Mazda, etc. are still significantly below a chevy 1500 silvarado.

  • Oh it's true what Merickel123 say's If you want to buy more and better american products -tell those idiots in Washington to stop the bull and cut the capitol gains tax on our american "bussns". tell the Dems to regroup - through out the Activists that has infiltrated their great party and come back to the Republic./ Michelangelo

  • we are americans we buy ahat we want and to me this african muslim american president is the dumbest president yet. or is he ?

  • Oh breaking i pods worth hundreds of dollers is the right thing to do? you tards

  • Anyone who has an iPod and can read knows the iPod isn't made in America. It says right on the box iPods come in "Designed in California, Assembled in China"

  • the only reason everything is made foreign is due to taxes on businesses. If you want american make your congressman cut taxes.

  • I will never ever buy an American vehicle again.

  • buy Honda they last forever

  • Actually I'm looking at buying a 2008 honda civic right now

  • My fav is a Honda Accord 2002. Its still running, like new. My sister has a Honda Accord 1992, no problems at all. You have made a good choice, I had a Mustang for a bit, the damn thing rusted, even its engine rusted to the bit it wouldnt run.

  • Yeah right now I currently have a 1995 Lexus LS400 it has about 156,000 miles on it and its never had a problem in its lifetime, my dad's chevy has about 45,000 on it right now and its had problems with the engines and has gotten stuck numerous times

  • I just got an 09 Civic, I bet the sucker is gonna last me two decades.

  • no its not, and if you beat on it it will not last at all, don't believe the hype, japanese cars are weak and don't last that long, you will see!

  • I bought one, it's amazingly great!

  • those girls are sexy!!

  • Most things we own even if assembled in the United States has some kind of foreign part to it. Bet some of that meat you bought was processed in a factory located in Mexico where labor is cheap. To be honest I have no problem with buying a product with foreign parts, as long as it is a good device or appliance but if you want to stop much of this I feel there shouldn't be any breaks given to those companies that outsource labor to other countries.

  • watch my videos see what i do to communist china imports HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Can anyone say BASEBALL BAT

  • There are no nations, there are no peoples, there is no America, there is no West! There is only one vast and emane multivariant multinational system of dollars. Electrodollars, petroldollars, rubles, reichsmarks, pounds and shekels. That is the order of things today. That is the atomic and subatomic and galactic structure of things today. You have mettled with the primal forces of nature. And you. Will. Atone!

  • at this point theres really no stopping the globalization steam engine, as it were.

But I think thats fine, globalization can have enormous positive effectives, but nations must guard against abuse and exploitations by multinational corporations, so a degree of protectionism makes sense.

free trade, therefore seems like the extreme to me

  • FreedomLiberty21, What do you mean by "abuse and exploitations"?

  • hmm, very interesting.

I suppose the "buy American" debate is really just centered on jobs.

Perhaps it would be wise to give lots of tax cuts and investment credit to companies; regardless of their national origin to set up factories, or production centers in the U.S. and maybe raise taxes (not unlike tariffs) on companies that predominantly focus on production, manufacture and design outside of the U.S

of course taxes on such companies can't be exponentially increased

  • Well the best would have been to cut taxes, now that would be a great insentive for american build.

  • I THINK ITS ALL THE MEXICANS in calfornia messing it up have no jobs so there takiing tax money beacuse they got 10kids and no job and theres way to many of them go back were u came from u all say mexico is the best then go there leave calfornia alone

  • I love this video

  • 1:50 VIVA CHILE!

  • Unions should have died in the 1900s where they belong.

  • its even more complicated when you take itunes into consideration, considering the amount of $ going into americas music industry, you better think twice before reaching for your hammer 'patriots'

  • "That free market stuff...is a bunch of crap."

    LMAO

  • Hello Globalization!

  • Look at your 1-800 or 1-888 call centers for big US, Chinese and Japanese Corporations they are mainly located in the Philippines and India. One time I called Directv Call center over billing issues and I accidentally spoke Tagalog when I was supposed to speak English on the phone and the call center person was a fellow Pinoy in the Philippines. When I called the Bank call center they were from India.

  • The people behind stem cell research are done by Pinoy Men and Chinese women. Also Doctors and nurses are done by Pinays. Robotics from Japan. Computer programming from India and Pakistan. This shows that Globalization also encourages innovation.

  • Merika fuck yeah. Dont give spicks jobs! White power!!

If they ever rolled footage of Mexican Americans working in a factory to these "Buy America" people i bet their heads would explode
