  • Wow....

  • Someone has the letter?? it's important =D

  • What harp is Brendan playing? Is it a regular richter tuned harp, Paddy Richter or PowerBender?

  • Guitar work a bit on the style of Nils Lofgren I think, very good indeed ! Regards from Anna

  • After having a bad day, that's what I needed.

    Thanks :)

  • Can someone give me the lyrics ? I'm French and I can't understand it all.

    Love the music !

  • @mika01500 did you found it?

  • Oh my God please someone make a video how to play fast the thing he plays in the beginning!

  • @HenryJacksonMusic it's basically all dexterity,hammer-ons and pull-offs thanks to that capo :)

  • Ik vind jullie een mooi stel!!

  • diatonic harmonica key is Bb (cross harp). white is playing in F#.

  • how does he stun the sound? so its not so ringy in the begining?? x

  • @shaznay1185 palm muting. He's resting a little bit of his palm/wrist on the bridge

  • Andrew White - one of the people round the world - who are granted access to my soul. Thank you so much for that. Heinz Güthling - Northpart of Germany

  • i just have something to say: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!! complete awesomeness achieved

  • amazing performance. Anyone knows where can I find the lyrics?

  • 12 people know everything about the moon

  • Take me to the RIVER.........damn..!!

  • I have a huge black clock

like if u read this wrong

  • @MyNu111 How the fuck does this associate with "Talk about the Moon"? You're at the wrong site spammer.

  • does anyone know where i can find a full lyrics write up?

  • and britney spears has 100+ million views......................... when music like this exists that just seems absurd

  • @Beijejr well, these guys dont have boobs :(

    XD

  • there are so many great musicians who should be in the mainstream rather than these jokers out there now who use synthesized sounds and rap songs that are just instructional dance videos not talking or singing about anything

  • @MrJBass79 that's so true i can't find words to discribe how true it is ....

  • super tare melodie

  • are you a fan of colin hay Andrew?

  • absolutely amazing

  • just thought I would add in, not all harp players will play a 4th off the lead instrument. It is seem more so in blues, but playing a 6th does occur pretty often. So if the guitar is in G, (standard tuning), a harp in E could sound pretty sweet.

  • @bigbrawler are you saying 'E harp in the key of G'? cause that would be ridiculous.

  • amazing... When you coming to Brazil?

Your sound is beautiful... You are blessed for God!

    Thank for share this sound!

  • Eargasm

  • Beautiful.

  • Perfectly well)))

  • Amazing.

  • This is an all around congenial and excellently played song, I'm glad musicians like these still exist.

  • I want the tabs of the intro of this song, I really cant figure it out correctly by watching nor by hearing it. It just becomes something in between sounding good and random crap :/

  • I love this song. I just hope that I find Someone to talk with me about the moon someday... and be together. Thank you for playing this song!

  • you know that feeling when you realize you are staring at your significant other and you decide that you truly love that person.

this song gives me that feeling. and i'm only a teen ...

  • Comment removed

  • stunning :) nothing more to say about it :)

  • wooww where can u go on tour?

  • you guys are great !!! this song brings it home for me in a very real way. Thank you for sharing it with us

  • Does anyone know wich guitar andrew white is playing there?

    great and real music!

  • @joschajusten it's a Yamaha, if you can believe it.

  • @EvCrock yamaha makes AMAZING acoustics, utterly, and are severely underated in a world of gibson and takamine

  • @19wayfarer19 I believe it! My first acoustic was a Yamaha. The reason I said "if you can believe it" is because they cost so little, I should've been more specific.

  • @EvCrock my first electric was an ion, ick, sounded like a moose fart. then i bought a yamaha electric, RGX 121Z i believe it was, something like that.....then i got my alvarez acoustic, which i still though i dont play it, because about a year after that i got my yamaha FG720S acoustic, and im quite content with it.... now i ahve a Dean ML X electric, mahogany finish, and my next acoustic will most likely be a beaver creek or lakewood, if i can ever afford it.

  • @19wayfarer19 yeah, I'm sitting pretty with my Martin, but I think the next guitar I'll buy will be a "backup" Yamaha. The quality of the 200 dollar ones, to me, rival the most inexpensive Taylors. But then again, I'm just not a Taylor guy.

  • @EvCrock martins are nice guitars, and with ya about the taylors, nice guitars and all, sound great, but they just aint for me either.

  • @joschajusten It's a Yamaha LJX36C.

  • Beautiful

  • Fabulous

  • Every time i hear this song, my mood lifts and the sky outside seems to color in all the brightest colors. A touching song; truly amazing!

  • Brendan Power playes F MAJOR pentatonic, which is the same as D minor pentatonic, but the root is F. However , you don't need to play d minor (which demands a G harp): play F (so you need a Bb harp) and play MAJOR pentatonic: the key of this song is F major, that's for shure!

  • beautifully played sirs........as always. much love and thanks for colouring my afternoon perfectly

  • Awsome!, the 11 ppl who dislike this, must be death metal goth emo depressed kids..ok, im back, sorry, what i really meant to say was that i loved it..almost peter gabriel sounding.

  • класно)

  • this song made me speechless... fantastic song.

to the 11 guys who didnt like this: i'm sorry for you.

  • same guitar!!!!

  • @CrazyCraigy101 its a fifth not a fourth.

  • @CrazyCraigy101 oh!!! the while idea of the harmonica being the 4th in whatever key... i didn't think that was the rule exclusively for blues... for some reason i thought that was universal...

lol... thanks for opening pandora's box... now i have no reason to think the harmonica should be in any particular key relative to any other instrument....

*sigh* i guess i gotta get off my ass and play some...

  • wow.. cliche lyrics

  • alright... this looks like it's in G...

If the guitar is in G... does the harmonica need to be in G too? that would make sense right???

In a I-IV-V blues in G... would the harmonica be in G too??? that's what i'm guessing... anybody know different?

  • @Splurgendii its in F and its a Bb harp played second position...

  • @TheJackJeremySound Oh good Eye! i think it is F!!

So... the harp is alwasy set to the 4th of whatever key the song is in? is that the general rule of thumb?

  • @Splurgendii its the fifth. and thats only second position.

  • @TheJackJeremySound so Blues in G.. The harp would be playing in D?

  • @Splurgendii nah its goofy. Look up the circle of fifths. If a guitar is playing in standard tuning, the harmonica plays in C.

  • @xxswedexx what??? not tuning! Key!!!

What key does the harmonica play relative to the key the guitar plays. Got nothing to do with "tuning".

  • @Splurgendii Well in a sense, yes it does. A guitar tuned in standard tuning or the Key of G...would be accompanied by a harmonica in the key of C.

  • @xxswedexx answer to the question: A harmonica plays the perfect 4th of whatever key the guitar is playing.

If the guitar plays in standard tuning??? key of C??? I guess it's my fault for asking a question on youtube. thanks for trying anyway :(

  • @Splurgendii Just google "Cross harp"

Essentially if you want the song to be in the key of G for example...then the harmonica needs to be in the key of C.

Song (guitar) Key of C --> Harmonica key of F

Song (guitar) Key of D --> Harmonica key of G

and so on and so forth...but it would be easier to just google/youtube the Circle of Fifths and cross harp.

  • @xxswedexx why don't you just make it easy and say that the harmonica plays the 4th of the guitar.. it's fewer words simpler and easy to understand.

  • @Splurgendii I explained it how I knew how. No need to be an ass.

  • @xxswedexx sorry, i just have horrible memories with my dumb teachers in college... Professors would ramble on forever trying to explain something where a smart friend of mine could explain in 20 seconds with great clarity.

I shouldn't have lashed out at you like that.. thanx for taking the time to explain it to me.

  • @Splurgendii It's cool, I can understand that. I've had some pretty dreadful professor experiences as well. Plus it's youtube...everyone lashes out from time to time.

  • now in my favorites :)

  • Good guitar, good harmonica, good voice!
