this wasn't a movie about nazis it was the best comic movie i've ever seen

I thought it also explored the human desire for revenge and gratification and that while something was taken away from you, you taking revenge is once more taking something from another.

Some people thought that it was interesting you rarely see a Nazi kill people, I just thought that it was because we've seen enough of Nazi's killing people and it was our turn to show us killing them.

it's funny how the nazis have more humanity than the basterds. they come off as souless monsters. while the various nazi characters are complex. the soldier who wanted to see his son max grow up. the hero soldier in the beginning who wouldn't give his comrades away, and the crying Dr. Goebel guy. Tarintino is a master.
