cool vid. i am building a manx style buggy off a '58 volkswagen pan. you did some sweeet jumps. how did you make that thing do so good in the sand?

It's a LWB with a 3'' lift kit--weekend worrior type front end with stock arms, 9'' of traval and 2'' droped spindles

Rear box arm's with twin shocks and 26 mm SAW torsions 10-1/2'' traval --KYB gas shocks all round--bus 1600 box and a 2'1 type IV engine--6 lb tire pressure--tire pressure is a BIG thing on sand

how effective is a buggy on a normal sreet road? Can you drive a buggy on the sreet? Can you put a sound system? im thinking of buying a buggy any tips on which one i should buy, i want one that is fast not so expensive and good loking? if anyone could help me out id apreciate it

Look up either Winchester Bay, spinreel, Oregon sand dunes, or Sandlake Oregon. Those are the places that i ride.

Looks like fun. I want to build a dune buggy out of small pickup, put the motor in back and substitute a exo cage for hood fenders and bed. For MUD since we don't really have dunes in TX, we have desert or clay.

hey mate i saw u out there in that it looked sweet i live about 5 mins away from the dunes i usually go out on a bike.

the way u dont run into people is not just flying over the dunes without someone checkin the other side. alot of people have died out there from people in big 4wds just goin as fast as they can over a dunes and hitting bike, quad, buggy and other 4wd'ers

you'll notice the flag up high on the back any vehicles doin this should have a flag like that (usually bright orange) so they can be seen before a collision... Still accidents happen tho
