originally taurens didnt have mounts. they bought a skill called plainsrunning which is like ahving a mount but you just run 60% and you still had daze effects ends it. blizzard later fixed that

Kodo's aren't slow and taurens are neither its because they're so big they move just as fast as a little gnome those legs just move 10 times faster ;)
