@kickmeihitu it should sound alright. the sound would also depend on the gauge of strings that you use. certain string gauges that are lower will make dropped tunings sound horrid.

He's tuned down so low he can't play the solo as it was on the album anyway...

Live, because of the low tuning, he plays it in a lower position with the g major harmonizing the higher notes, (still sounds good, but the high notes aren't as prominent as the low ones). I'm sure this would have come up if the video continued. The solo is not technically difficult anyway. If you can't get it by listening to it, I wouldn't worry about it too much :/

As an old fart Hard Rock Fan I must say that this version is not as bad as I expected it to be from an Heavy Metal Band. Blackmore or Page would (THANKS TO GOD) never ever play with that amount of distortion. Blackmore mostly used none. The original rythm part of Bad Company is much more intricate an harder to play. Also in a very strange key of eflat.

@Lokar92 Meh, yeah, I'd like to see the solo too, but its not overly difficult to improv. Its mostly played on the g and b-strings between the 12th and 19th frets aside from the high notes at the very end which are obviously on the high e-string. Its made even easier by the fact that Jason and Zoltan's highs are relatively easy to reproduce.
