The tentacles will penetrate your skin an inject you with the worlds most deadly venom which will, if you dont get the antidote in time, stop your heart in a contracted state as the only venom in the world. That's at least what I've learned from watching other vids :P

Even worse is that if you do get someone to give you CPR resuscitation, then you only revive for a few seconds until the venom circulates more, and then you have another cardiac arrest. You just keep going in and out of death like that until the antivenine kicks in.

And all the while you are in the most excruciating pain. This would be a fast but ugly way to die. Just awful.

All box jellies are a threat to humans but alongside the infamous Chironex Fleckeri is another much smaller but more or less potent species called Carukia barnesi (Irukandji) there very fragile and unlike the Chironex Fleckeri can give a sting from their bell as well as their tentacles.
