  • When I'm walking through a valley

And I feel there's no way out

The wind of sorrow threaten me

And they turn my world around

That's when I look to Jesus

And the price He paid for me

I can lift my hands in praise to Him

    And shout the victory!

  • It's through the blood

That's all I have to plea

    It's through the blood

    That Jesus shed for me

Not by works of my own righteousness

    For filthy rags are they

But because of that old rugged tree

    Hanging on dark Calvary

    That is my only plea

    It's through the blood

  • IT'S THROUGH THE BLOOD by: Jeremy Simpson When I think of Heaven and all the sights I'll see The walls of jasper, gates of pearl The clear and golden street Why should I be present? Why should I enter in? After all the sinful living and the wicked one I've been In the Presence of Jehovah As I stand before the throne The accuser of the brethren Starts to read the things I've done As I hear the awfulcharges One question fills my mind Why shouldn't I be cast in hell To suffer for all time?

  • Looks like Jinger does not want to be there. And where the Hell is Cousin Amy's slut-butt?

  • Aww poor john, hes so shy. Its cute

  • My baby hit my hand and clicked the dislike button. Sorry.

  • They are an amazing family, and the girls are so beautiful inside and out... it is very encouraging to see these beautiful yet modest young woman!

  • How can anybody not like this video? Is it because Jill and Joy-Anna weren't there?

  • i always think it's really sweet how josiah is watching his mum the whole time and looks so happy when they look at each other

  • they really enunciate their words very clearly. thumbs up

  • Jim Bob is a creep.

  • Jana really bloomed.

    She's beautiful.

  • does anyone know the title of this hymn? I'd love to learn it............:)

  • @homeo02 hey, yeah, i learnt it and it's one of my favourites. it's called 'it's through the blood'. the original chorus is It's through the blood that's all i have to plea it's through the blood that jesus shed for me not by works of my own righteousness for filthy rags are they but because of that old rugged tree hanging on dark cavalry that is my only plea it's through the blood
  • @homeo02 The name of this hymn is called "It's Through the Blood" It won't let me put a link in here to the lyrics but if you Google the title it will come up. Hope that helps.

  • i have to say jinger is my favorite oneeee

  • I feel so icky saying this, but Joseph is going to grow up to be hot.

  • @balvarez01 hahahah!

  • thank you so much for this!! i love this family so much and through some of their values confuse me, they are a great example of a loving God loving Christian family

  • joseph is so cute

  • I love the Duggars and I wish the Bates had their own show.

  • lol that'd be great!

  • The Bates family is MUCH better off without having TLC destroy their family.

The Duggar's may "play perfect" for their show, but they've sold their children's childhood for crass cash.

I think the Bates family is much more sincere.

  • I love how this family has great family values and love for each other. It is their RIGHT to have as many kids as they want. They accept no public assistance money, are self supporting from businesses they own, and loved by millions of people. No one hear has the right to make THEIR business....YOUR business. It you don't like the show ....turn it off. Thank you Duggars for your inspiration that you give.

  • I agree that they have a right to have as many kids as they want. BUT, they don't have a right to use their older daughters as proxy caregiver to the detriment of their own interests and advancements. They are like teen moms.

  • I love this Song and Love the Duggar Family!

  • evry body needs to stfu this women has 18 kids that she has gave them life their happy their not gonig to be doing drugs and worshiping the devil when their over ,every little kid will misbehave at sometimes but who cares their not yours, god bless you duggar family

  • LOL! I never knew what a tantrum looked like online until now. Don't hurt yourself! :)

  • To MrgwhFL: Thank you. I have great respect for anyone who becomes a teacher, especially in today's society. Plus, I rather be called a school teacher than be deemed an uneducated individual lacking the ability to think about concepts that go beyond what the eye sees.

  • um they had the kids BEFORE THE SHOW EVEN STARTED. and they provide for the kids by owning propertys and renting them out. and they believe that the Lord will give them the amount of children that they can handel. they are such a loveing and kind family. dont know them personaly but watch them on t.v

  • Oh no! I feel so badly about using 370 times as much energy about someone in a third world country........

As true as this may be, it's a terrible, inapplicable point.

  • The look on Jinger's face at 8:58 is priceless.

  • @davinci5152

I wonder what Jana told her.

  • They got adorable Hair colour

  • To MrgwhFI:

Such awful comments coming from someone that start their sentence with "Them poor kids ..." and use phrases such as "bitches babymaker". Instead of judging so harshly why don't you take the time you spent to insult this family and understand their belief system. By the way, check your spelling and grammar while you are it.

  • gee, let's take a look at this: kids are happy & healthy, they're loved, mom & dad don't argue, they love eachother, they have the confidence to raise their children (not yours) they way they feel is best. The kids are not being used - I wish I had been raised with so much love. OR you can have the other end of this ruler - Jon & Kate plus eight whacked out kids.

  • Don't blame the gosselin kids for the mistakes of their parents.

  • I'm not blaming the kids . . ?!?! I blame their messed up parents. I just think that jon & kate are screwing up their kids' heads -

  • Yeah I agree, I found out yesterday that Mady and Cara are actually in therapy because of all this, and soon the tuplets will be too.

  • @gypsylor That's for sure and they work and take care of their kids. They don't live off the state like most people these days.

  • @gypsylor

I agree but I accidentally hit the VOTE DOWN Button...So SORRY!

I wish someone could write out the lyrics to this song...

  • @gypsylor Amen crazy John & Kate your treating me like a dog now is the love or fellowship

  • why the hell are they singing at a barnes and nobles lol. It's a little random.

  • jessa is so beautiful

  • Very touching song and they sang so beautifully. Many criticize them but it's wonderful to see a strong family with strong values in this world.

  • @RenaeJo

Over-breeding and sucking resources are not strong values.

  • they are missing much of their harmony section

  • Boy, these people annoy me. You want to have lots of kids? Fine. You want to homeschool them? Fine. These kids are so sheltered, but if thats what the parents want, Fine again. But then, why do they do appearances such as this where they basically put their children on display? Those older girls clearly look uncomfortable.

  • I think people are entitled to raise thier families as they see fit as long as they aren't hurting anyone and they clearly aren't. This certainly isn't for everybody.

  • Thier not displaying thier kids like they are a circus act, they seem to be very proud of all thier kids. I think they feel they have something to share about thier faith and thier lifestyle. I don't share thier faith or thier lifestyle but I don't think they are hurting anyone and the kids aren't forced. There are times when certain of the older kids have other things to do and don't participate in these things.

  • @nancylp1111 You have that right. "18 Kids and Counting""You Ask, Duggars Answer" didn't go smoothly because there were many interuptions from the younger kids. A retreat came up that the four oldest girls REALLY wanted to go on and their parents decided it was more important for them to do the retreat then the show. More recently, the four oldest Duggar girls were away overseas on a misson trip when Michelle gave birth prematurely. Their parents told them to complete the trip.

  • I went caroling with my family all the time. And we sang in old people homes and anwhere people needed joy. It was fine.

  • Jinger is the only one closed to being normal.

  • and jessa that's why she's always with cousin amy

  • Eh, my husband always liked Jill. Thought she'd be a good wife/mom/etc.

    I thought Jana would be.

  • thanks but learn to move the camera REEEEEEEALLLLLY SLOWLY and hold it steady. this was dizzying

  • what is the name of the song they are singing?

  • The song is It's Through the Blood

  • Jinger looks like once she makes the break for it she's gonna do something wild and crazy, like buy a pair of jeans. Jessa and Jill are the hottest. lol

  • i can see jinjer just being wild!

  • is it just me or does Jim-Bob have a look on his face the entire time they are singing that makes you think he finds the singing beyond awkward

  • I can't tell Jessa and Jinger apart. Which one is on the left and which one is on the right?

  • jessa's the hotter one on the left lol

  • what and be like china and abort everybody?

p.s. global warming is a freakin lie stop kissen obamas ass while you still can

    -Peace!

  • I'll bet the rent Jinger up and escapes one of these days.

  • i wish more than anything i could meet them! especially jana and anna! they're my favorite : )

  • omg me too! my favorites are amy, anna, and jinger =)

  • I love this family. We had the priviledge of spending an evening with them & meeting their children on differnet occasions & they are the most kind, genuinely happy people I've ever met. The key to their success in raising happy children & having such a strong family bond has been the Lord & they would testify to that. May they continue to be a guiding light to the Lord in this dark world...where many people don't understand & stand to critisize this sweet family. I can't wait to see them again.

  • I really love the way they're raising their kids. We don't need media dictating how we should be living, or even affecting us. I love that they love the Lord the way they do, and how their daughters all get purity rings. It's awesome! They are so exceptionally wise with their money, and God has so blessed them!

  • What does Jim Bob say at 8:49? I can't make it out.

  • He said "Maybe at a book signing" in response to a question of how Jana and John-David will meet someone to "date".

  • Continued...

Don't knock it till you try it and see the amazing results. Those Duggar kids are some great kids and put most kids to shame.

  • Continued...

Having to learn around kids of all ages in our home verses only learning amongst kids of one age group in a classroom is great. I'll never make the mistake of forcing them in a public school again. Not only that, my kids wasted so many hours in school when at home it took way less time to learn the same stuff. Not only that, they learn other skills they could never learn in a public school setting.

  • btw, we don't have tv either

  • I was raised without a TV and now my six kids are raised without a TV. I'm so happy because I don't want my kids acting like the "real world". The bible says to seperate ourselves from them. My kids love to read like crazy, ride their bikes, play outside, have fun being together, eating together, and going on family trips together. I had my kids in a public school for awhile and they went downhill fast in their academics and social skills.

  • my wife was our childrens teacher in preschool. When she became pregnant with our third, she quit and homeschooled. The same teacher, but homeschooled and our kids flourished! They developed better social skills, their behavior improved, and their academics advanced amazingly. My daughter was reading books (without pictures) by the time she was 4. Homeschool, done right, has amazing benefit!

  • That's awesome! I know what you mean. My kid's behavior improved dramatically when I pulled them out of public school. They are more polite, achieve more in a shorter amount of time. My kids begged me to pull them out of school and homeschool them. I'm glad I did.

  • I've read some negative comments by people but I feel that the Duggars are a very sweet (and large) family! Maybe it's old-fashioned, but please don't forget that having large families used to be a necessity. I personally want to adopt, and that's my right. Michelle wants to bear as many children as possible, and that's her right.

    God Bless!

  • your right, I want to adopt too. And it is Michelle who has to carry all of these children so if she can handle it, good for her. People are just jealous because they don't have a loving family.

  • Why do some parents feel the need to use the same letter to name all of their kids???

  • b/c Joshua was in the bible so they named the first josh and jana and john-david were just names they liked but as each kid came out they didnt want it to feel left out by the older kids having a " J "and the younger ones not

  • i absolutely love hearing them sing!

  • the dugger are amazing and it sounds like a lot of you have our own issue.....

and it might help if some of u would open your bibles bc God dose love kids and its wrong 4 u to contol how many kids you want i say that it should be up to God

i want a big family is that wrong???????

    God bless

    age:17

    Ol!v3<3

  • if i become him, i will be emberrased speaking in the public cause i make my wife often pregnants

  • Amen.

  • Hello there..

I dont think that this kids are in NO way being abused or exploited! They are indeed a perfect example of what a real

family should be like (in everyway). I would love for my family to be like theirs.

    God Bless you all!

  • Except that they have to be on a television show to be able to house that many kids. They would not have a 7,000 sq ft mansion if they were not getting paid by the learning channel. Also 18 kids have put Michelle's health at risk. A uterus can only do so much.

  • WRONG. You have to read the book 20 and Counting and it tells you in detail their finances all the way till now starting from getting married. I bet that was a nice big guess on your part saying it's because of the show. They housed many kids before this show even started and they built this house super cheap from cash they had saved for years. Even the furniture in their new house is used. Try to not make guesses like these. That's embarassing for you not knowing the facts.

  • No individuality allowed. They must conform and perform as servants to their parents religious beliefs.

  • Yep, that's about the size of it.

  • im in love with jessa

  • Anyone else think Joseph always looks lost and confused?

  • b2-This is not exploitation in their eyes. They're doing "God's work" by spreading the word. I mean, this IS in fact, weird. But, abuse? Not sure. As for none of them having issues w/this: I dont believe that all 18 of the kids actually LIKES this attention. I DO believe that since JimBob is the "authority" in the family, the kids dont have a choice to be involved or not. Whast Daddy says, goes for them. Most are too little to even think for themselves anyway.

  • Being you put it that way "God's Work" makes me understand a lot better now. There is some distance family I have similar to the situation. And they are "their kids". We all have are own way to raise them, no matter how many we have.

  • b2-indeed. I feel for these kids tho. They cant make their own choices. They'll grow up to be adults who cant have an original thought of their own. Its quite sad all around.

  • you're assuming that they have no capabalities of thinking for themselves yet you don't know these people?!?!?!

  • It is pimping your family out and thinking that spewing out a bunch of kids somehow honors God or anyone else. It's delusion on their part for thinking their older kids should want to raise the younger ones. That is NOT fair to them and you can screw with people's minds by calling it religion but that just doesn't fly with most people. It's pathetic & stupid to mindlessly breed.

  • Mitsy-Amen. I dont agree w/most of what they believe in. I DO believe the kids are loved & are well cared for-on the outside appearance. I DO wonder what we DONT see when cameras are off. I wonder if a few of the kids silently is struggling w/this way of life. Its all they know-but w/the exposure they DO get, ie: NYC-if their curiosity is awake & to what extent? Jinger was asked about NOT "courting" but her choice to date instead. Her answer w/o a blink or a 2nd thought: "that wont happen."

  • u r right too. I never thought of it that way, but because the kids don't watch TV it must be a shock to them when they are in another city and strangers come up saying they know them. I love the Duggar family, but that is the question I have. How r they going to live in the real world when they turn 18, 19, 20, 21 and still are not married. Josh was lucky, but what happens when they have to go find a job and deal with the real world.

  • bgirl-one of the girls talked about when people come up to them & say they know them. I cant remember which girl tho-& they said it was weird, but fun. About living int he real world-JimBob stated on the very first special (14 & preg. again) that they wanted to build the 7000 sq.ft. house w/a HUGE amount of acres in case some of the kids wanted to build homes for their own meg-families. Its sounding more & more like a compound/cult to me. I like this family. Theyre sweet, but they worry me too.

  • Comment removed

  • What is wrong with letting your children decide whether they want to live by you or somewhere else? Josh is living with his wife on his own away from the area. If Jim was wanted them to not have a choice, he would've built a house right then and there on the spot before they were married. I would love it if all my six kids grew up and wanted to live in the same neighborhood with me. I would be thrilled. But if they don't, at least they know how much I love being around them

  • I was raised without a TV all of my growing up years. I'm doing just fine. I now have six kids, I've been married 10 years, I'm 29 and we love our life. I'm not confused. I didn't need Sesame Street to teach the facts of life. I didn't need 90210 to teach me about sex before marriage and how damaging it is. I'm glad TV wasn't allowed in our home. It's not in my home either

  • If you would have read my comment right I didn't say anything about TV damaging them. I said because they are on TV it must be a shock to them when they meet strangers who know who they are on the streets. Especially the younger kids. I didn't mean for it to come off like you think it did.

  • Thats true 2.

  • it seems like you want them to have issues, which is sad i n and of itself. They seem like a happy family and all children seem very well cared for.

  • Yes thank God someone agrees with me.

  • They have nice voices.

  • I wonder about a Duggar album. Like the Brady Bunch, haha!
