Pizza Pasta most likely later became Aran Ryan, because they both have grab attacks. According to Punch-Out!! series creator Genyo Takeda in his Punch-Out!! Wii interview, Pizza Pasta's name comes from how hard it is to punch and knead the pizza dough down.

IMHO, a revamped Pizza Pasta would be awesome, like how they revamped Kid Quick (Disco) and Aran Ryan for the Wii.

Make him like a mafia guy. He rotates his fists for Tommy-Gun rapid like punches. He wears Pinstripe shorts, and his hair is slicked back. TD = Fadora with flower in it. When he knocks you down, he smokes a cigar, and in the corner during intermission, he dotes on his wife.

Mafiaso stereotypes FTW! Bring back Pizza!
