  • I can believe that it kicked back like that with buckshot, because it kicks back a little bit just shooting blanks.

  • I have one of these. My Grandfather gave it to me around 40 years ago. I fired 10 ga. 3" 000 buckshot out of it, but later found out that it is only designed for blanks. Flew back about 4-5 feet or so.

  • Can you shoot shells with projectiles out of it, or only blanks?

  • @oddcarl1 As far as I know it's just for blanks. I have never tried anything else.

  • in all rushion happy meals

  • Hah! We have one of these and shot it for new years. We paid $225 30 years ago. They do go for over $500 now, but you can get the blanks on-line. Unless you have surround sound on the computer you can't begin to get the amazing THUMP when these go off! Good vid! Thanks.

  • @monstercatambush Thanks for your comment.

  • I can't remember exactly but, yes it was somewhere around $500

  • i think thats a marine signal cannon (or yacht cannon).. shoots a 10 or 12 gauge blank right?

  • @tryckjavel Yes, it shoots a 10 gauge blank.

  • dude what if you used a 10 ga slug?

  • i have two winchester cannons and a cival war black powder cannon the store that sold me the cannons said they can sell cannons but not blank shells and black powder where can i buy the shells and powder

  • I bought my blanks from a sporting goods store locally. They had to special order them. The name of the store is Scheels in Cedar Falls Iowa. The black powder that I bought last, came from Powder Incorporated, in Clarksville AR. I found them on the internet.

  • HEYY! if they are 500 $... its no SO expensive but where did you buy those??? and with what name :D would you wan't to tell :D!?

  • If it can shoot 10ga blanks, then why not 10ga buckshot?

  • I suppose it could but, I'm not going to try it.

  • the pellets wouldn't be able to come out of the barrel without turning it into sharpnel

  • If the neighbors ever cross you......

  • Woah! For a small cannon it packs a punch!

    Nice one!

  • I got mine from a place called A.F. Boyer Hardware 130 Main Street Slatington, PA. 18080 Phone: 1-610-767-3575

  • Mine is a nickle pladed wincheaster 10 blank cannon

  • If I would have had a little more money, that's the one that I would have bought.

  • Yeah my dad was lucky to get it from his dad and well fire it off every year! Its setting right next to me.

  • Is that the kind that uses 12 ga. blanks? Cool man

  • Yes, it uses 10 ga. blanks.

  • I want to try shooting like a small ball out of one of those cannons....have you done that?

  • I've never done that. I'm not sure if it would work or not.

  • i'm pretty sure it would as long as it doesn't get stuck in the barrel so I would use a ball just a tad bit smaller then the barrel

  • lol this is a small toy, not a real cannon

  • Awwww DAMN you see that?! Now that's one ass whoopin' cannon!!!!
