I`m thinking about getting a .410 for bunny bashing but I am a bit unsure about the maximum effective range of this cartridge.

If I was to use 3" magnums with full choke are they a 40 yard gun?

@Marlever357 No, 40 yards would not be a fair range as the pattern spread would be too lean. Better off with the 20g. Same usable distance as a 12g but as quiet as the .410. And I just happen to have one for sale!!

thanks for a good review. I would find it really helpful if you could post a video demonstrating how quiet the gun is with various cartridge types (ie sub and non sub) and in differenet environments ie near buildings, open fields, woodland etc. I am also considering buying one of these and using it for vermin control near livestock.
